thanks

it could be better but it works perfect for the 4 guns and clips, I want to find another one so I can have guns on bottom and ammo on top, that would be cool

About five and a half.  You can find them about $50 cheaper here in Fresno but it was a total impulse buy. I saw it while browsing at a local gunshop,
So I dropped a hundred dollar bill and threw it on layaway. It is my first new handgun.

LAYAWAY

Hell yeah!  I don't do credit cards and don't like shitty guns. Plus its easier to hide it from the wifey that way.
I like your 1911, that may be the next one I throw on layaway.  I have heard great things about the RIA and its only about $400

yea that 1911 A1 is a WW2 Army issue that was used in competition shooting by the Army in the 70's dont know when the compensater was added but I love the way it shoots
smoother that the Hi Power allot less recoil and quicker recovery time to the next round.
Im gonna need to look into the layaway thing I never knew you could do that. **Yeller** wants an AR

no love for the bows? I got a 2004 hoyt compound set at 70lbs. Its smooth and shoots well. I havent hunted with it but I plan on it.

I just picked up my first gun. Its a savage .222 over a 20ga. I havent shot it yet but I plan on using it for cyotes and small birds. Next is a .270 and a 12ga. but this will be fun to shoot.

good thread to ask,
Im storing ammo loose in military ammo cans 50cal.
I dont think its an issue but some have told me its dangerous, storing loose 22 rimfire, there meaning the weight on the lower ones
Its full and weighs well over 50 pounds
anyone agree with what I heard?

my 40 and 556 are fine cause they are centerfire

I store my .22 ammo the same way and I would think it would have to be allot more weight to set it off, I guess if you dropped the full ammo can it might be a problem cause its rim fire but just laying around in the box I wouldnt think it could go off due to weight

I store all of my .22 in .50 cans. A 6k rd case fits in one lol. Never had any go off ever and I am sometimes not nice to the cans. They get slid around the truck, thrown around the shop.

I wouldn't worry about it either.  Also, without the barrel to guide and direct the force, the hazard is diminished (not gone, but diminished). I'm not sure the force would even be enought to get one of the rounds out of a metal can.

yeah i wouldnt worry about it.. i buy the 500+ round boxes of .22 all the time and they arent exactly stacked neatly in them so i cant imagine that it would be any different in an ammo can really except for it being metal instead of cardboard
