most are blackcali convertable bullet buttons have a instert that is red, so you remember to remove it in caliand yes if a ar in cali dose not have a BB is is considered a assault rifle- ILLIEGALif you get caught that is, mine has one
http://www.riflegear.com/p-58-ar15-bullet-button.aspxfirst one on google when you type in bullet button. There may be different variants, and prices, but you get the idea.It just replaces the mag release with an inset button, so you can't use a finger to swap mags
So you wear a ring that acts as the tool................
Its just another retarded Cali law. I bet all the criminals that carry ARs have bullet buttons too
Nate if a AR dont have this is a problem ? Cause I have a uncle that IIRC dont have that on his, will it be a problem ? well maybe he does and its not red, now I have to look
This is where so many people get it wrong, but it isn't a straight black and white rule. Post ban guns have to have it, while pre ban guns are good without it. My friend got a colt ar15 right before the ban went through and is good to go without the bullet button, as well as the 30 round mags he had before the laws changed
Nate how do i tell the difference, in pre and post ban ? I will be with him on Sat. night looking at his M1 and want to make sure he is ok on the AR. are there dates on the gun I can look at to see if its ok ?
I believe they have a date on them. If not, grab the serial, I'm sure there's a source online or you can contact the company to find out when the gun was made. Or you could just ask him how long he's had it
He's totally fine if he's had it 20 years. My friend is only 32ish and bought his when he was 18 or 19.
yeller, any plans on a synthetic stock?
Just so Yeller knows it's me and not some poser.....Hehehe.......
