I think i saw those axles for sale.  but i thought the rear was from a ford which isn't what i want.  is there any difference between a dodge and chevy front 60?

Chevy front is 69" wide with 31" spring pad centers. Dodge is 67" wide IIRC and 31 1/2" spring centers.

thank you!

Ramrod

i'd just go for the spider 9/60.  you dont have to go all out with the bling and spend a fortune and if your already gonna be buying the aftermarket knuckles why put them on a $1000 junkyard housing when you can have a bling $400 housing?  your call...........third members are sick too

Hyena

Do you have any idea how much a built thirdmember cost for a 9 inch?  a lot.

and i will probably just buy a $250 housing from the east cost or something.  a couple hundred in gears, grand in knuckles and steering, some rotors, spindles and slugs and it will be good to go.

Doof

if toyota rotors were compatable with dana axles id give you a pair of vented rotors for free since i dont need them

Ramrod

why would you buy one of those built ass thirds?  there is so many 9"s at junkyards get one of those and weld it up and your ready to rumble.

Hyena

you have to get gears still and they don't have a 9 inch to toy flange like 60's do.

inmyownsummerami

What're you thinking of for the diff? ARB, spool, lunch box of some sort?

I don't want to run a chevy joint, i want to run a toy joint because they are stronger, smaller and easier to addapt to a 60.
