My 84 extra cab is gone. Tacoma build now.

weekend was a little rough.  flopped it twice.  both times on the passenger side which pushed the cab and inner cage farther to the drivers side.  ARP knuckle studs came loose at least 10 times the whole trip.  i think i had to stop about 6 times on the way out to tighten both sides.  i just ordered a 2000 pound milemarker winch for the rear end.  i am hoping that sucking down the rear will help with side hills because it has massive amounts of body roll.

why do u think the studs are loosening up so much?

the studs were.  then uts weren't moving.  i am affraid the studs are stretched.  the truck didn't break though.  my amp quit on my for a couple hours then worked again.  gay ass thing.  thought i was going to roll about 10 times going down the slabs to Buck.  the truck did good though.  made little sluice saturday with not much throttle, took a little bit to get the right line.

maybe take the nuts off and get those studs back in there supper tight and bottomed out in the knuckle to like 120 ft lbs

thats what i had before but i didn't have time to build it again after i tore off the bed.  i ordered a winch for the rear already.

i had to pull the front axle apart again today for like the 1000 time.  all four knuckle studs on the drivers side twisted out and the hub nuts were loose.  haven't gotten around to the other side but i know the knuckle studs are gonna twist out also.  and the clicking noise is back.  last time it clicked is when both my longs were cracked.  but the drivers one looks good.  i hope the passenger one is ok too.  this front axle is f-ing gay.

I gots an idea. You should park your truck while you save up for 60s or what ever, and give me a hand with mine. Then you wont keep breaking and having to fix the toy stuff, and I might actually get my finished.

ha, my truck sat for over 2 months!  i am going to wheel it till winter and then maybe swap the axles out.  i already have an idea on what i am going to do.
