Looks like i can't bore out the spindles.  guess i will have to settle for 30 spline cromo rears.

new spindles means new bearings.  since these bearings are already brand new i am not going to switch them.  already got the 30 spline Dutchmans coming.  i was going to get the gears installed today but i need to find a 30 spline spool or open carrier with spider gears.  this axle should hold up.

anyways the smittybuilt winch came in today.  it looks pretty stout.

Spool came in today.  looks like i am taking the axle to River City Diff on monday and then going in to work and making the link mounts.  i hope to get the axle back on wednesday and then i will have 5 days off to work on mouting the rear axle.

there is a thread on pirate about it.  they all say it pulls pretty good but is a little slow.  but they hadn't had any problems with it yet.  i am not sure if it is the same bolt pattern.

No i ordered a spool this week and got it yesterday, thanx though.

and i found the thread on the winch.  One guy broke his.  that is all so far.  and it is the same 4.5 x 10 inch standard bolt pattern.
