The shout box
« on: Dec 31, 2009, 05:02:03 PM »
I know marlin wants everything to be a family safe time on MC. And thats great. But lets face it most of us here are adults, and guys. We can get a little out of hand. Mostly all in fun. Ive been talking to a few different people about the shout box and rules for it. Its hard to enforce at times and keep everything fairly censored. What if we had a family shout box and a adult shout box. Say you have to put your username in with a birthdate. Both would have to match, like a check to make sure its not your kid trying to log into it.
Dr.Maxwe001 – well i have a 15 gal compressor now and if I gett he 60  and then use the 15 as a reserve that wil give me 75 gal  thats close to 80 isnt it ?

It is not only the kids that get offended by language, porn or off-color stuff, there are adults here that don't care to see it. On top of that this is really a business and must maintain a business like first impression.

Or we could just keep it sober and sane and not complain when we have to follow certain rules on a business website   Some adults don't realize how annoying and testy they become when they drink, enter the shoutbox and get offended when others notice.  Not saying anyone in particular, just a pattern I've noticed over the years I've been on here.

If you want no rules, just use aim instead  ;)

Some people just go to other sites, like Pirate4x4 and Timbercrawler for the drunk posting.  :beerchug:
