It's been an ongoing joke in the shoutbox for a while now

But bacon is still better. And I miss him in the shoutbox, haven't seen him for a while since he's gotten back.

In some ways it has been an issue, like posting an image there. There were some really pissed people about that and those that were here will remember that debate, and it is a rule not to post images if I'm not mistaken.

I don't think it's a rule so much as a rule of thumb, especially now that you can't go back to archives and see past chat.
If you post a huge image it takes up the entire shoutbox and you loose half the past conversation. It's just as easy, actually easier, to post a link and everyone can still see the image.

Here's my take on this; use the shout box to figure something out, and if you think that it's important info that needs to be shared and saved, start a post about the problem and fix. This way we all can benefit from the information.

I wish the shout box had a longer "memory" cause I hate to come into somebody asking ?'s and they have to repeat all the prior ?'s that have been cleared out of the shout box.

x100 on that......the shoutbox needs to be longer...when lots of people are on, the tech questions get lost (cut off) at the bottom of the shoutbox....not good for slow typers or readers....big mike are u reading this?
