Can't SHOUT!!! Can you?

Hey guys,

I have heard from one user that he is not able to write in the Shout Box.

On the main index page he can see the shouts but the field to enter the message and the button "Shout" is not there. He does have the option to "View All" but he can not shout.

I am wondering if anyone else has this problem.

Every member should have the option as pictured below to shout. It is a default setting that can not be disabled. So I have no clue why his account does not get it.

if it is not showing up it is becouse he is not logged in...or @least that is the way it looks when I havent logged in yet

My wife doesnt like when I use my outside voice in the house.....oh what you are talking about something else...ya the SHOUT box works for me, maybe he aint actually logged in.

Nope, he is logged in. I've seen it on his monitor. Also there are no permissions even available for the Shout Box since its an add-on package that I installed, so it is impossible to manually remove it from the main index page.

I'm hopeing to find someone else who also has this same issue so I can compare the two accounts for any problems..

I just installed an update to the forum and apparently it has disabled the Shout Box for another member.

And this may be a good thing because I could not figure out why, in the first place, the first member was not able to access the shout box, so now I am hopeing that, assuming more people are having trouble with this same issue, I will be able to find out a pattern between certain accounts and discover why it is doing this..

There are not options to disable the shout box and EVERY member should be able to use it. So I have no idea as to why this is happening.......

Hey, I just found about about a permission I overlooked. Also KYOTA can't shout, so I think its the member group that I moved you two into. Try it now and let me know if its working, I just made some more changes...
