What day is everyone/anyone getting to the campsite? Is Scotty going to be early to secure the site this year with his trailer?
Scotty is planning on running Indy with the California guys the weekend before (July 24th & 25th). They then will head towards BV and snag the campsite Sunday or Monday. He plans on showing them around the BV area throughout the week.
Also, Volcom have you already posted the jambo on Cottora? I see some trips over there but didn't want to double post.
No, I haven't posted the trip info on COTTORA. I don't plan on it either. See ScottyC's buildup thread for the reason why.
Suz, some of COTTORA has really cool guys. But there a few bad apples that really ruin it. I stopped associating with them almost completely. But occasionally, I see a run I can go on that has good people going too. The Eagle Rock run was one of those... Those are good people to wheel with. But in general, I'm not a big fan of COTTORA, and some of its most active members. Coincidentally, the people who were on the Eagle Rock run are moving away from COTTORA some as well....much like many good people, that certain other people, have chased away.Off hand, people like:VolcomOFRD_GRLBlownTacoScottyRic....on and on and on... All really cool people that I've wheeled with, that have left COTTORA because of the same few people.
Bump. 3 weeks away!! Hopefully everyone is finishing up their projects and will be ready to roll.
IronClad: If I wanted to hold hands and be nice I'd become a hippie.
well get it together not much time left
You guys must not know much about the last second push I get most of my work done on the truck within the week of the Jambo. It seems to work out lol.
I'd like to go and check it out but not wheel; just watch/spot/stack rocks for Volcom 'Bout what time are you doing the Penrose run?
Man Im missing all the good trips this year. Maybe we can do an Indy run later this year Volcom.
Whenever you want to run it. It's only 40 minutes away for me. Let me know!
So unless anybody has a spare 37" MTR or two that I can borrow, I'm not sure that I can go. Screwing up 2 sidewalls on my own property was an expense on my already extremely tight budget that I had not counted on...
...but they're under another dude's 4Runner. He might be a little pissed if his junk goes missing while I'm doing the clutch...
can't believe i haven't seen this thread until now CO4RJ is lookin slim for me this year though. If I can find a place to live and move most of my stuff by then I will be there (without a rig ) but if not I dont know if i cant make it. Money has been too tight to build my rig right now, but I really hope i can meet back up with the coyote cantina crew! p.s. aaron the runner is lookin siiiick! i hope i can watch it romp up carnage again this year!hope to see everyone soon -Matty
