are there any requirements for the trail ride?

Like to get out & wheel with other Toyota owners.  Truck is in good working condition (seat belts, no major oil leaks, etc..).  Bring tools, spare parts, and recovery gear for you truck.  Good attitude.

Eight hours isn't too far; last year there was a rig from Oregon with us. It's really worth it too, I had a blast last year just riding along. This year I'll be driving though...

yeah i know that isnt too far.  If i still have my 35" bfg a/t's then i could throw those on, somehow fit my 40's on the rig somewhere and drive the BoostedRunner to CO.  I wouldnt have a problem with that.  The day i bought it i drove it ten hours from Utah back to SD and it was a smooth trip.

Small utility trailer behind the 4Runner with the 40's.  That's what I plan on doing this summer if I don't tow.

29's and a 4 inch lift will look like one of those fullsize trucks that drive down the railroad tracks with the little wheels on em

Glad your buggy is coming along Rus!  Eric's Jeep is coming along, he's got the rear crossmember welded in and the rear shackle hanger welded on.  He's fighting his AX-15 no wanting to work with his Atlas (he bought an XJ AX-15 thinking they were the same - they aren't).  He should be there at the Jambo again.

Really hope to have my truck done in time for this.  Is there a "sign up" for certain trails, or does everyone just camp in one area and head out to different trails in the morning?

The last 2 years has been everyone camps in a general area, talks with other guys that want to run a certain trail, and then head out.  It's a laid back approach but it makes everyone get to know each other.  Plus, just as an FYI, this isn't an organized event.  Just a gathering of friends over a weekend up in the mtns. having a good time wheeling.

1 - Cactus Ridge 2
2 - Rangley
3 - Die Trying
4 - (tie) - Independence/Patriot
4 - (tie) - Carnage BV
6 - Calamity Canyon
7 - Billings Canyon
8 - 21 Road
9 - Topless
10 - Holy Cross (including running Cleveland Rock)

I've never ran 1,2,3,6,7,8, or 9 (All are on the western slope).  Toytank and boggerrunner probably have a better idea since they've ran all the western slope trails and then ran BV Carnage with us last year. These were a list people argued about on CO4x4 a couple of year ago.
http://www.colorado4x4.org/vbb/showthread.php?t=33591&page=4

I guess BV Carnage is ranked 4.
