after measuring, tacking, breaking and more tacking i got the look i wanted :wink2:

Heres my brother's buddy welding the sliders to the frame

i thought of dove tailing at one time but for now im satisfied with just a short bed and doing the front is just a little to complex to deal with..

i doved the front of one of my second gen truck and when i was all done i wished i had never touched it and left it stock i had the rear doved at one time too and i likes that but it wasnt finished so there was a big hole in the bad with no tail gate so it was an un useable bed

so after lots of thought and patience me and my bro purchased a lincoln 180 welder....
our first project a welding cart to suit our needs, i designed it, then me and my brother built it.
welds are crappy due to unexpierienced welding, but it works great.... it costed nada all the metal and wheels were
donated by my father, they were some old displays from his matress store in fresno..
