Well Friday night I got around to putting in a new third. Got it all pulled apart, called the guy i was trading, he comes over and i check out the diff. WHen I got it i counted the teeth on the ring/pinion, well....turns out they were only 3.91... So I thought wow, do i really even have 4.56 or what? So I counted the theeth three times, turns out I only had 3.58's!!!! Ridiculous... So I threw in the 3.91 and rocked it (just since it had more power with em)

Took it to the highlakes and did some hardcore 2wd as a shakedown run, well... Few things happen

First it was running hot so i had james bring up some antifreeze, then i was mashing so hard to try to catch up to a friend, ended up not catching up so we turned around and matt said hey lets check bolts (since i was mashing soooo hard) well the shackle bolt on the driver side came loose, lost thhe bushing and the nut, bummer. Ghettoified it back on (with one bushing) and rocked it. Found the bushing, put it on, ended up losing it again since i didnt have a nut. Oh well. Also a rock flew up and cracked the hell out of my mirror.

Today matt and i did the soda ridge trail by ourselves (since i know it and its all easy).. got about a mile from lotts t and it started running wayyyyyyy hot so we got out and checked it and everything was just boiling over. Bummer. Popped the cap and put the antifreeze in that james brought. Come to find out, the radiator had 2/3 of it a cold spot and then turning it on and adding fluid found that the head gasket is blown (it was bubbling pretty bad)... Bummer :(

Needs a bunch of little work, needs new front main leafs, a rear 4.10 and most importantly a new thermostat and head gasket :(

3.90 gears are gay as hell with a 22re and 37s.... It was a huge difference though from 3.58s. 4.10s are going to be tits. Other then all the BS the b*std rode wayyyyy nice, was sooo comfy to sleep in and had decent power going up the hill.
RIP Kyota.... you are the man

Bobby you suck... I was at the campsite to the left when you "get to spring valley"... You never even looked down there. We saw you drive by so we hauled sooooo much ass to try to catch up. Got to philbrook/humbug summit and was over it. We were probably 30 seconds behind you but i was mashing so hard, i didnt wanna break anything.

Wheelin lol where too?

Highlakes like I told you....

so what did you do with the iroks?

Got rid of em

Tomorrow is tear down.

Tuesday itll be done for sure.

EDIT: This is IF I have motivation. Im going to change the radiator out first to see if that fixes the bubbling. I dont think that it will but its worth a shot for sure. The radiator that is in it is garbage and the fill nexk is cracking and ready to blow off.
