That's a bummer about the runner.  That thing was bad ass.  Let's see some carnage pics.

Hey Chris, you've built a bunch of really cool rigs, been doing more wheeling than many people myself included, and you've been safe despite rolling hard. That's a nasty hill to roll on, also I hear it's off limits now.

Soon you'll be back on the trail doing what ya love. Can't wait to hang out with ya again sometime in the near future :beerchug:

Thanks mike! Hopefully I can get the new body On and all the other stuff I want to get redone as soon as possible. I have no motivation to work on it right now though. I have a buddy up in paradise that is willing to help me work on doing the body swap one weekend. Hopefully I can get that done soon. It's definitely a bummer that it happened but like you said I've been on that trail so many times I don't even know along with hammers fordyce and the Highlakes so in a way it was bound to happen.

The part that makes me most upset is that I didn't do anything wreckless and it was the same line I've taken for years. Oh well. We all had our harnesses on and were safe. My friends fiancée in the back seat was so freaked out on the way back out she flinched anytime we got sideways or went up/downhill. Luckily we had the harnesses on too because the sunroof was open and my buddy with me, his head was only inches from the roof before rolling. Coulda been bad....

I'll get some pics up tonight or tomorrow. I have none of it really on the lid, just the aftermath.
RIP Kyota.... you are the man

Sounds like we need to get Chris motivated to go wheeling again :_order:

hows the power of the 3rz in the 4runner on toyota axles?

I have GM 1 Tom axles. I've had the axles in before the 3rz. The power increase from The rebuilt motor I had with a cam vs the 3rz was a pretty large difference. It's hard to tell though because the rebuilt motor I had was way more powerful than the old motor but I did new motor and one tons at the same time so it's tough to say how much more power the new motor had than the old. But I can definitely haul ass in places for having a 5500+ lb rig vs some friends I have with much lighter rigs.

No siree. I'll be at my cabin deer hunting.

I definitely need motivation. Every time I look in my garage at my runner I just turn around. I hate seeing it. Plus the gas tank now has a hole in it and it leaks has ever so slightly but it smells absolutely terrible in there.

Id like to hit fordyce around October but I don't see it happening due to the lack of motivation.

You roll it down that hill at the end of the box on the by pass?  right as it meets back up with the trail again?   that spot is pretty knarly sometimes and can be really off camber if you don't take the right line.

Sucks bro, hope to see it on the trail again soon... could be worse.. you could be like me 4 years later... still not on the trail  :D  :talkingn:  :rivers:

no updates. motor ripped before i rolled it. now its sitting in my garage all rolled. i havent touched it or looked at it in 2 and a half months now.

yep thats the spot. pretty lame. i was going up it and went too far passenger and up on rearl wheels and slammed driver side and then to the roof. it hurt.

i have a 94 ex cab thats pretty built right now. traded my lexus and got cash. i needed a truck for deer season and that was all i could find (i ONLY wanted a stock tacoma) and imma put some of my personal touches on it and probably sell it. i dont know. working on getting a 99 4runner right now instead of the 93 that i already bought.

ill post up whenever i figure out what im going to do

What happened to this?

Got rolled on rubicon july 2012. pretty sad day. parted most of it out and kept a few parts. i traded my 2002 is300 for a 94 ex cab with a 22re and sasd and all that garbage. been rockin that and beating the piss out of it when i can but i have recently got into having a boat so my truck has been parked for over a month now. the only reason i drive it anymore even is that the AC in it works way better than my car.
