dude you can be in the sas cheeper than 1100. Granted its not a toy axle and its different to do the break lines and all that buisiness but if you search and check everything out on the axle before you buy it im sure you can find one with good breaks and what not. The most expensive part is the axle rebuilding and swapping from to to that so you have to go in with a plan and decide what pinion you want on your D-line and all that what break lines yada....

For the fab part you can just rock 44044s some cheep long travel shocks. You can go the cheep route for some f150 towers, make your own hanger, build a square D-line, there isn't much more. Steering will be expensive depending on the route you go but I would just do it right and get high steer not cross over just because you won't regret it.

I say with out the axle if you fab everything you can you could be into the swap about 500 bucks including all supplys.

That gives you 600 for an axle, which should cover an axle steering and break lines pretty easily.

Any guy who takes his woman wheeling enjoys her. A woman who is owned is left at home to cook, clean, and keep beer cold. So if this offends you you should stop looking and go have some tacos.    :rofl2: And a beer. If your old enough.   :beerchug:

hey cody how much money have you put into the sas on your rig so far?

i have maybe $600 into it so far. and I need about 1500 to finish but thats because I am ditching the 22re. If i just left the 22re in it, put stock duals behind it, a crossmember, and drivelines I would need like 500 bucks and tires.

the chevy and t100 match up really well. Byt the only gears that match are 4.88s you can run a 5.38 and a 5.29 but that scetches me. I would rather them be the same and run a more powerful motor. But the match up WAY better than a 44 and 12 bolt. I said I was going to do it along time ago, granted I havent ran it yet but it seems to be the best combo (if you want width) next to 1tons. I just need to find a new housing cause either the truck was weighed down way to much or it was jumped cause my axle is fully bent.
