well thanks. i think im good at wheeling so i hoping not to hit to many rocks. im gpoing to put a rear bumper on an then slider's so ill to my best.

I hate tearing into a yota axle. 44s are soooooo simple




I wasnt callin you a bad wheeler travis, i dont know how you wheel. I was just sayin a ifs truck on 33s and rubicon dont mix well. Remember my blue 4runner.... It was locked front and rear on 35s and it was alright but i had other problems than IFS or body damage lol

I guess, I have torn down and rebuilt enough yota axles its not a big deal. Never taken apart a 44

the only difference is the open knuckle and less grease. other then that its practically the same thing.

theres nothin wrong with 5 lug.... I was thinking about changin my outters to ford 44 and puttin a 9inch rear in it. cause t100s are freakin hard to find!

The 9.25 is a pretty stout axle but they are known to have pinion problems. There are also limited gear and locker options. As far as I know 4.88 is as low as they go. I would recommend a D70U. This will have a smooth bottom and not much less clearance than the 9.25. The 70 will be full float and is available in 35 spline stock. Just gear and lock and you will have an axle you will never have to upgrade. You can get an 8 lug 44 to match and everything will be set up to switch out to a front 60 latter if you want to.
