quit hogging jasons bedsides!! you can put one in my dodge and one in matts haha

swapped89

ROFL haha ok there will be two you guys can share.
I'm bout to go hit up the metal yard for some steel and fish plate stuff to stretch the frame. :gap: and some angle iron to relocate the gas tank.
I also came upwith the bright idea of stretching it to fit a stock dl then I won't have to get my drivelinetech shaft lengthened right away and it'll be easy to find spares.

I got a lil more done today. Picked up some steel to extend the frame. Got some plate steel for bracing the frame and some 20 gauge sheet metal for channeling the back of the cab around the frame. And I got all the un needed bed mounts cut off and ground clean. A few more hours of grinding and I'll be ready to extend the frame. And hopefully get the cab on by the end of the weekend :) :beerchug:

Haha ya workng on my truck for me is like smoking crack for others. Lol. I would have a lot more done but my ribs keep popping outta place and it's just a god awful feeling. Then I have to go to the chiro to pop them back into place and he tells me to go home and do nothing. It's quite aggrivating. But Early has been puttin in some good hours of work too :) really helpin me keep movin forward.

Ya got the cab n the frame this weekend. It's sittin high on some 4" pieces of wood so I can paint and finish welding the frame. My miller welder took a dump on me so I gotta get that fixed asap. But I'm still movin forward with everything as much as possible :)

I think it's gonna be pretty dope! Can't wait to get it done and ready for the snow. I keep hearing that Èl Nìno or whatever is gonna give the NW a badass winter :beerchug:

Ya that cab is like 11-12"s longer than the standard cab I think. :headscratch: the wheel base will be at least 6-10 inches longer then were it sits now. That will put the wheelbase between 114 & 118" stock extended cab is 122" I think. I wanna move the axle back far enough to clear the cab with 4deez.
