91 ex-cab

Ok my numbers were from a 2nd gen not a 3rd :_oops:.  I Thing my 3rd gen is at 127"  but the axle is moved forward 3 inches, so I guess They are only a few inches apart. Anyone :headscratch:

Edit: page 26 brought to you buy 91 ex_cab rambling with himself

Thankst THK. I saw that on pirate the other day too.

Last night I cut part of the core support on the new cab to clear my steering box. And started cutting the back of the cab to clear the frame rails. Tonight I'll probly cut the floor out to clear the horsecollar. And hope this new fuze I bought for my welder fixes my drive motor problem. I disconnected the drive motor wires on my welder and hooked them up to a 12 volt battery and the motor works just fine. So if this fuze don't fix it I might end up just takin it in to Quimby welding were I bought it to have them diagnose the problamo.

Well I had to take the welder in to Quimby so there service tech can figure out the problem with my welder. I put a new fuze in and the second I pull the trigger the fuze blows. I'm guessin it's either the circuit board or a short somewhere. Really hope I get it back Monday. Pretty lame. And I had to work almost full day today. Bit I think when I get home I'm gonna start pullin the dash and wiring harness out of the old cab and hopefully have it all switched over into the new cab by Sunday night. :gap:

That sucks the fuze didn't fix it, does it have some kind of warranty on it still?

swapped89

I wish I bought it used so there might have been a warranty but it's long gone I'm pretty sure

Finally got my dash all buttoned up. I hadto find a new speedocable before I put it all back together.

and the welder is still down. It was blowin fuzes because the drive motor was grounding/shorting out on it's casing. So my dad ordered me a new motor as a birthday present (nov 2nd) but it won't be here till the end of next week :(

Just got my new Drive Motor today at work for my welder. Gonna put that sucker together when I get home and start tackin things together!! I cant wait. I also ordered some Therm Tec heat shield material from Jegs. I ordered a 48"x72" sheet should be enough to cover the tranny tunnel and most of the firewall. Im just sick of roasting my feet on long summer drives. thats all for now
