no front axle glen?

burn there is an event in gilmer "ICBM" 9/21 -9/24 but i won't make it unless i sell the taco.  saving $$$ for the halloween run.

workin on the '83 tomorrow.  gonna put the third from the '88 in the '83 tomorrow and re-setup the gears on the front.  the pinion on the front has about 3/4" of play left to right and about 1/4" of play in and out = BAD.  pulled it apart and the gears have some wear but are still in pretty good shape.

Trailer looks like it's seen better days :yikes:

he's using it as a "live" axle to help out the trailer, which makes for a long day.

yea Halloween is a good date for me..now i need to get crcking

i thought aboutit  but no,  i put those tires on yesterday  after i kind a  woke up,  to get it off the trailer,  i had  it blocked up  and the wheels off  on the way home,  but the trailer was actually lifting the back of the truck  so 25-30 mph  was MAX SPEED  :thud:

thanx red but i have enough extra sets of tires...  if they total my taco i am gonna put the stockers back on it and pull the 32" MTs off, and i also have a set of 33" pro crap XT's, but what i'm prob. gonna do is get Swampy's 2 TSLs and buy 2 more if he sells his rig.  i am also supposed to get a set of gears from the guy that i got the '83 from (he dosen't know what ratio) but i figure i can sell 'em and get me some 5.29s and run some 36" tsls.  All this realy depends on what the f'n insurance wants to do with my Taco.  After being in the shop twice getting the frame tweaked the wheelbase is still off by 3/4" difference from the driver and pass. side.  The alignment shop said it is un-alignable and needs a new frame.  Blue book on it is 17000 so it is still possible that they might repair it but i am ready to get this over with.
