Hmmm 3rd gen x-cab....  Read $300 in the projects section.  I am still working on my 90 x-cab.  I think you'll get a kick out of the buildup.  The 3rd gen starts on page 9ish.

Thanks for the welcome power.  Yeah, 81-83.  Only 1200 total built from what I read.  This is an 81.  22R.  All stock.  It started today!  Tranny is good.  No rust.  Bad shell for a long time so the entire interior is shot.  Will have to replace every hose and gasket cause it sat so long.  But not bad for a $100 tow fee!

Hello,  I'm new here as well. i have been into to cars and trucks for a long time now. but about a month ago i purchased my first Toyota truck. its an 84 that i have treated to so far is a 5 inch sus. and 3 in. body with 38.5 tsl/sx and i was about to do everything to get it rolling good but i believe I'm going to get a 93 2wd and put a sas on it with the things i already have. so I'm sure ill be calling marlin soon for the twin shifter,  short throw, and front spring hangers really soon. money isn't the greatest now but every dime i have extra is going to that truck. but I'm glad to be here and plan on doing tons of reading on this forum. thank you everyone for the info i have seen so far.

Noob here, i feel like i'm missing out on the video.  i'm a dial up dummy.  I come from California and will return to the west soon,  but live in Virginia for now.  I have an 80 toy bobbed flat bed 4.5 lift  22R 31" bfg's pretty blue celica bucket seats a really nice toyota sticker and 14 coats of grey primer.  Also a 95 Taco 4x4 w/ airbags to support the 3000lbs of horseshoing equipment in the bed.  I love toyota's.  Am looking to buy a 90 runner in a couple of weeks.  All the cool mods are absent from my vhikles due to a wife in college.  Two more years, graduation, and the money is redirected to my choice of mods to the runner!  Can't wait

:moon:  Well, hate to follow suite, but nu-b here with the rest of the nu-b posts.  Have an 83 Longbed Toy, 2 in susp lift, and 31's.  Nothing compared to what I have read, but trying to catch up, money is short these days.  My plan is for a 5 in lift, poss keep, 33's, dual transfers, rear locker, and a winch.  Then, and only then, will I be ready for the big time.

jldx4  :welcome:  Your rig that you are selling will get more attention by posting it in http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?board=29.0 just click on this link to go to rigs for sale and start a new post.  If you have pictures it would be best to add them to the post.

When you try to put pictures in the rigs for sale thread they have to be 90KB or smaller.  Check out this link and see if this helps you http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=5512.0 .  Read through it and you will find a link to down load a Windows program that will allow you to resize your pictures before you load them on the rigs for sale thread.
