We have a 93 Toyota pickup and want to put a tach in it.   Just trying to get some ideas, here's what we're interested in:

1.  What kind did you go with?
2.  How big is it?
3.  Where did you mount it?
4.  Post up a pic of what it looks like where you put it.
5.  Does it illuminate with the rest of your dash?

Thanks!
RIP Kyle, we love and miss you man.  :smooch:

1.  What kind did you go with?
cheapist thing I found at auto zone
2.  How big is it?
small, very small
3.  Where did you mount it?
in my 83 there a spot for a clock in the dash, now has a tach in it.
4.  Post up a pic of what it looks like where you put it.
I would if I had time this morning, heading out of state latter this morning.
5.  Does it illuminate with the rest of your dash?
why yes, it do

Thanks!

A good day working, that's just sick :reg:

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

cleanest would be to find a stock tach cluster or the gayest would be to get an Auto-Meter monster tach with 10 grand red line and a shift lite

best pic i got of my 87pu.... just a small sunpro IIRC, works well and stays out of the way.  And is a nice Solid mount thats easily removed.....I have an SR5 Cluster in my 4runner but im not 100% happy with it becuase i question the accuracy, not like it matters much...oh and yes it illuminates with my headlights, i hooked it up so that i can turn the light off if wanted because its pretty bright and im to lazy to change the bulb to a lower wattage...
