just thought id ad some more pics..a few weeks ago i added a york, took a long time to do, lots of stuff had to be moved but it turned out nice. i knew that it would pump more air than my last ac setup on my runner but i didn't realize how much more.  this thing pumps out air like a shop compressor. took my 3 inch body lift and cut it down to one inch, looks so much better and its going to be perfect for when i start putting links in. i had to get new tires so i got 4 35" mtrs for a good price. they were about 90% tread, and painted my wheels black

Looks good... i like it...

Looks way better lowered with the black rims Matt.

thanks, im pretty happy with it. rides so much nicer with new tires. i forgot what it was like to have a good set of tires

Truck looks real nice with those tires and minimal lift. I cant wait to see it with those sweet new axles. How do you like your tacoma in place of your old 4runner?

Any guy who takes his woman wheeling enjoys her. A woman who is owned is left at home to cook, clean, and keep beer cold. So if this offends you you should stop looking and go have some tacos.    :rofl2: And a beer. If your old enough.   :beerchug:

ya i know seriously, im workin on buying transmission components now. already bought the new hd case adapter, chromo rear output and chromo front output. probably 4 more weeks and ill have a built case setup ready to put in. i still need chromo 23 spline 4.7s (not in stock), 23 spline input (from what ive heard not in stock), v6 adapter (also don't think its in stock), and 2 cases. im also looking for a new transmission because i believe my counter shaft bearing is bad.

i give props to the new line of adapters mc is putting out. the new bearings are ridiculously nice and having a chromo coupler is a huge plus.

Anything new lately Matt?

ya, im getting close to building this thing. i have the chromo front output, chromo rear output, marlin 4.7s, inchworm v6 adapter, twin stick, 23spline input, new clutch, radiator, fuel tank, all the link rods and ends.

i just need some link material, 4 coilovers, 4 air bumps, and 2 transfer cases. (having a hard time finding local T cases for sale)

That york compressor is pretty kick ass. Is there a bracket kit out there or did you custom fab all that stuff? I would like to have that setup on my 4runner.

yota_krawler

I had one for sale, 21 spline top shift. Gone now though

Glad to hear your gettin :pokinit: for this thing still. I don't get on marlin much anymore cause I don't have a truck anymore. But I do look to see how the rigs are goin that I have been fallowing. Hit me up sometime flamingo lol

Nice, can't wait till it's built. Too bad I'm not up there anymore otherwise I'd help you out.

heres the kit for the york, http://pnwfab.com/YorkOBAmountbasicOS.htm . it was worth the 100$ because i didnt have to source out the pulley  and cut the brackets but the kits dont fit well on most 3.4s. everyone else i know including me, had to mod the pulley bracket becasue it was completely wrong (didnt line up with). basically had to cut some stuff and re-weld. also changed out all the bolts it came with because i wasn't happy with how the bolts that were supplied were way to small for the holes drilled. either way i would still recommend it and would buy one again. like i said 100$ for most of the work already done is worth it but still a pain in the ass to have to refab something that should already work.

ya dude its been a while, still cant believe you sold your truck, but you have priorities. i still have a little while till this thing gets started becasue after i finish buying parts i still need to get a cheap dd. if you come across any t cases let me know. i wont pay over 100$ though. ive seen a couple for sale that are in the area for 175$ which is ridiculous.

jud you working right now?

i cant wait till you get this thing built! it will be soo sick

joshcraig09

that is an awesome setup... how u like the compressor so far... thinkin of doing one my self....

-Matt-

so awesome i would recommend it to anyone. worth the hassle. having a yorks like having a full on shop compressor

joshcraig09

how long does it take to install... will it run a 1/2 in drive impact no problem?

-Matt-

took me a weekend, but thats not working on it full time.you have to move a lot of :pokinit: and i had to change most all of my kit i ordered so its not just a plug and play setup. but its easy... just kinda a pain in the ass. it will run air tools if you have a decent size storage tank. just like any shop compressor. you wouldn't be able to run air tools directly from the york, you need capacity. id say if you had a few 2.5 gallon tanks you could comfortable run some air tools.

stephen-O

any progress on the links yet?
