welp I decided im bored with my truck I know really stupid right? I'm just wanting something a little more road friendly since im building the first gen to be a full on rally truck. I am not super motivated to sell it its on craigs with no price so if someone offers me a good price ill take it. I really want to trade it for something built but factory paint and clean enough to daily drive. I think im trading it for an 86 factory turbo truck all stock exept pod gauges and some random stuff here and there solid axle swapped low as hell on 37" mtrs single 4.7 case locked front and rear yada... its clean factory tan with sr5 stripes. Long story short my buddie is getting it an im trading him. hoping to trade but keep my 30 splines stereo and seats possible some other things. Should be sweet if the deal goes threw.

my buddy is getting a new turbo for it before we trade or im going to keep more stuff. I talked to the guy who owns it now it only smokes when it blows off so its not that bad  yet but ill replace it asap when I get it.

Yeah no the guys is a royal dousche. I talked to him for a full day he told me he lived like an hour away it ended up being like 2. My buddy was going to trade him for an 85 thats pretty much a hack job like its cool but not worth more than the parts that are on it. He told me he sold it and had the 85 he built himself and daily drove for 6 months which it hasn't been driven for 3 and he deffinetly didn't build it. Then I was like no and called him out on it he said he wouldn't trade and would hold it for me untill next weekend so I could have all the cash for it. My buddy sent me a picture last night of it behind his dodge on a trailer lol. So the guy full on 2 hours away tried getting rid of it to 3 different people who all lived within 10 miles of eachother and well yeah lol. I'm not to mad about it though because I blew up my rear diff yesterday and kinda had fun because I rallied down and saw some people there who were talking about trading and didnt because my toyota has to many dents lol. I dunno all in all I just decided ill shorten the wheel base when I do the ton swap and bob the front of my bed or something. I would sell it but noone is serious about buying it lol someone offered me 1500 for it and another guy offered me a lifted subaru gl wagon on 34" ltbs haha. I mean there was a couple decent trades to but just for clean toyotas nothing with cool enough parts to trade for.

and yeah jason matts duals are in and the cross member will be finished next week we ended up scratching our heads for a while trying to figure out the best way to do it because plan A would have been kinda iffy. I ended up cutting a fuel line somehow and some other stupid stuff but by the end of next weekend it should be lowered regular bed the cases finished the tank moved and yeah pretty much sitting pretty and driveable if he gets his driveline.

it is but wont work with stock tank so were gonna move it into bed till i buy a fuel cell

i was trying to get the picture on my photobucket but my new phone is being ghey lol

i looked at it with a flash light when i got back home at 2am lol and it had sum hack jobs on it the rear spring perch has sum crappy welds, full spool front and rear, 85 front axle with 79-83 u-bolts and the motor needs alot of work turbo and gaskets lol ive never seen so much oil on the hood

but i would have bought it if i had the money its a nice start for a DD wheelin rig

Also yeah it would be good but kinda wierd to cut a hole in the stock bed for it to fit lol just an odd place for a hole in the bed.


Also he wants a fuel cell but teh fuel pumps pretty expensive so I dunno but what ones at tanners? Its an rci plastic one like mine right?

yeah dude. this is not much of a jeep its a full tube buggy with a fuel injected 305 turbo350 to a twin sticked dana 300 with 60s 38s.... link front and rear has a jeep grill and hood thats it lol

cleaned up I cut all the bumper off because it was partially welded to the hanger and some of the bolt on mount was welded to the seam. I wasn't really feeling it anymore either so I just hacked it off.

I have a 14 bolt swap kit on order from ruff stuff and a sky u bolt and plate kit for the front. When I get the 14 bolt kit ill have it it within a day.


On the list to order still is steering, Im going double sheer balistic fab.
gears,yukon 5.38s
break lines get some custom made.
tires either 42" iroks or tsl I can't decide yet.
rear calipers and rotors.
chevy mc
60-toy d-line flange
1350 u joint in the rear and a 1 piece shaft.
I think that sums it up for the most part. I should have the rear in before next weekend
