Ahhh, I know it is hard to tell with the picture, but all BigMike did was add brackets to the original toob just like I did.  That isn't a second tube above the brackets, that is just the center bed brace that got painted cause it was in the same area.

Not that I am wanting to burst your bubble or anything.

the  new  tube i added  is  thicker  than the  stock tube  and  is gusseted  firmly in place with 1/4 inch thick plate (old shackle plates)

:headscratch: If that were truly the case then you should have stopped him when he cut the body in two.

Gittinit

There is nothing about the shock mounts that would effect safety? He could run without shocks like some on this forum have and still be just as safe.

The cab on the other hand is a conscern but not having seen it I shouldnt judge nor should anyone else. Ya Ya I'm sticking up for the fab work instead of critiscizing who'd a thunk it. Quit being so negative, your bringing me down.  ::)

I was pretty impressed with how precise they were able to cut and mate the two pieces of the cab.  It was when he welded a mower blade in there that I had to question the "fab"...

now if it had been a piece of  2 in x12 x 1/4   would you have said  anything ??   i had the blades,  i had 4 of them  and  i sandwiched  the floor of the cab with them, using bolts  thru  the blade/floor/blade  then  welded  them to the cab

  man  yall making me feel bad  just cause  i use  what i have available,  and  use it in a way  to strengthen the cab
