Me and Henry's Hollister romp.  I had a shifter issue which left me without low (fixed).  Henry suffered some damage to his drive line.  All in all a very fun day.  Mostly Jungle, Hollow, and Henry's romp through the mini.

The RZR doing the mini, it was a joy seeing a proud father showing off for his kiddo.  Spotter complements from a Pirate.

Yeah, I saw the ones with all the buggies.  I didn't see your pics.

I got a stick of 3/16 wall DOM for drivelines, gonna make Henry a bulletproof trail drive line.

Modified my cross member, I raised the drivetrain a little 1/2".  I won't flatbelly till Its a trailer queen.  I also added skid to the front, tabs on the crossmember for front and rear.  Next is the rear skid.

Received the JD2 Model 32 bender today, let the fun begin.  1", 1 1/4", 1 1/2", 1 3/4", 2" tube dies, 1" square die, and hydraulics.  Still gotta assemble it, make a roll around stand.  Bend-Tech 3D will be here shortly.  Pipe dies will be ordered around August.

We looked at several models from several companies.  This had the most support, quickest lead time, and budget minded.

Once the Honeymoon is over, it will come home, here and there for me to finish my projects.

Did a pretzel for the big wigs, let them know what they bought.  Its nice to know, in a crappy economy these guys throw money to get cleaner project.  In 7 years we have vested 60k+ in just raw equipment in tools. I am thinking a bigger brake next.  This was 1" x .060 H.

Ok I used a 230 lb steel base, it was scrap so I made it work.  I made a Stand, mag drilled the 2" base, bolted at either end.  We can roll it around or tow it, it can be unbolted and be
made even more portable.  Roll it around ?, yes it will have casters.

I did 1" because it is why we bought the bender.  I am about to order 32 sticks of 304 SS 1" x .120. I know everything will be different, but it was a good test.

Took a break from working on my runner.  I do ride safety for film shoots.

Lex is in there with the Polynesian dancers.

Notice the Go-Pro.

Got this from a friend who makes them.  Nice clean CNC milled piece, came with 2 gaskets and with a little extra thought, some longer bolts in stainless.

Gonna install it next week and give it a little test.  Yes, its an EGR limiter for a 4.3 CPI, limits about 80% of EGR gases from getting back into the intake.  Without throwing a code.  He also makes them for TBI and TPI.  Well see if I gain anything except maybe less carbon, some s-10 guys swear by them.

How is the auto and single 4.7? Works good? To low? Want duals?

I love my auto, never have any problems.  The single 4.7 seems to work great, I don't think I would ever go duals on this rig.  As for too low, not really, it takes getting used to, and some shifting to high.

Since I have a little downtime, from my last carnage in Hollister.  I already have new gears, just waiting on my bearings, and Birf was replaced on the trail.

Redoing the rear cage, and cutting the corner.

Tube cut

Rear cut, and ready for a little body work

Why not throw an LED light in the corner

Still gotta finish the upper tube work, more frame to cage support, and tire carrier/gate.

Cheers!
