They started as flat plate in my shop when I was working for a surf car rack manufacturer.  The arms are 12 years old and the fifth stud is today, there were not many kits then, and they still serve well.

I did a little houscleaning on the runner over the weekend  (while I wait for trunion bearings).  I moved my spare to an upright position (cause who needs to see behind them).  I bolted my ammo can holder to the bed as well as my truck box.  I think I can fit more junk for road trips.  I am still figuring a location for my hi-lift.

Got my Trunion bearings, two sets. The KOYO TR0305A and The NSK 30303, I'll install the KOYO's and stick the NSK's in my spare bin.

For the Toy guages to work, You will need the oil sender and adapt that to the block.  You will need the Temp sender and adapt that to the cooling system.  I believe Downey and Allpro sell the adapter bungs.  If currently have EFI then you can use your current fuel pump (I use a chevy tank pump adapted to the toy tank), and the Toy sending unit.  If you go TBI or TPI and had an EFI Toy motor and arn't going smog legal then you can Tap Toyota VSS.  If your Cali smog then you need a VSS from JTR (they are the only ones that are smog legal), and no you can't just ground it out and be smog legal.  Also I use the GM P.S. pump so keep your power steering hoses and put a new end on the high pressure side or buy an adapter.  If you go with a painless harness or Howell then make sure it contains the VSS wiring (in Cali).

I am sure I missed something.

I finally got my Smog exempt VSS.  Now let the referee games begin.  I should pass, cause I have already been there, and passed tailpipe, evap, and visual (minus VSS).  I will be running the new VSS for smog and my old one after smog.  My old 40 tooth ring allows for tire and gear ratio through a DRAC, so I'll use that after smog.

Its something us in Cali have to live with, it will never get easier to deal with smog.  I can't just pick up and move either.

do you have dual cases, and if so what support are you using? i finally got my rig running yesterday and have alot of vibration transmitting from the drivetrain. I'm pretty sure it's coming from the t'case mount because when I installed it last year with my 22re it increased the vibration significantlly. I suppose it can be from the motor mounts [a a] or a combination. I'm relatively sure it's not from the motor because I had it rebuilt and balanced from a builder who has built some pretty high perf motors for me in the past.

I have a single 4.7 case on a custom crossmember, in the stock location, using the Toyota T-case rubber, and no vibration.  Probably no help to you

Hey that is my shifter, (uni-matic I believe) and yes it works great (comes with the Park/Nuetral switch).  You can put that shifter anywhere ( you will need to make a mounting plate),  I tucked mine very close to the dash, so my guess is that you would have no problems , until duals !

My transfer case is in its stock location so twins were easy, I have room to use duals and my e-brake handle (non stock).  I also have buckets, but a bench would be fine, in my case.

It has a set of stickers, for the 3+OD and just the three.  I never used mine and just remember where I am, I also hooked up a little light for Park/Nuetral which comes directly off the switch, on the shifter.

As far as anything new, not really.  I am just puting the smog crap back on cause I gotta see the referee, at the end of the month.  I also broke some small stuff in Hollister, and I need spring bushings all around.

Cheers !
Kevin
