How much work did you have to do to get the 16" coilovers under the hood? Contemplating 14's or 16's for mine.

sorry for the late reply. totally forgot about this thread. I have probably about 3 maybe 4" under the hood. the shock towers are lower than the york comp and intake manifold. its hard to tell how much room there is with the hood closed.

front OX locker is actually working now. I had to re-route the cable.

I have also decided to sell the truck. I just dont use it enough. it deserves to get wheeled more than 3-4 times a year.

Not you too, Pat was putting his Runner up for sale a few weeks ago.  Are you going to get something else less built/DD, or are you dropping the hobby for awhile?

yeah he sold his. im not sure what im going to do. I just dont use it enough. wouldn't mind getting a full size truck and I have kicking around the idea of building a hot rod of some sort. My job just doesnt allow much time for wheelin anymore. just time to move on, to whatever that may be...

I know what yo mean, my '91 has only wheeled three times since July '08, and likely wont for a few more months if my back doesn't improve any.  You could always pick up something slightly built, nice DD, good for getting out but nothing extreme, kind of the way the Taco was, before you won the 4-link.   I was going to suggest selling it to Pat and Buni, until I saw your asking price.  Do you think you can get that much for it, or are you hoping someone offers you say cash plus a vehicle?  You might join a couple of hot-rod forums, might find someone there willing to trade.

I know you have a lot time and money invested in it, and is it priced right, but it is going to be hard to find someone w/that amount of disposable cash given the economy.  At least you don't have to sell it like a lot of others, so you wont have to take a loss.

Did Pat get a fair pice for the Runner?  I now the last time he listed it he got really low offers.

i doubt anyone would pay cash for that, that's what car loans are for.

88Rokyoat

If anyone is seriously interested in the truck (instead of trying to jew me down online without looking at it) the price is $16,000 firm.

Plans are to put the dual cases in, new drivelines, shave rear end and adjust rear pinion angle alittle. I'm not sure when fire season will let me get to the work but hopefully I can finish it and wheel it before winter!

after spending yesterday wiring my garage for 220, so I can use my welder, I decided to do some work on the dual cases today. I have had both adapters and 23 spline input for about a year now. The t-case I had for the crawl case was a forward shift. today I converted the crawl box to top shift and put it all together.

tomorrow I am going to order the twin sticks and crossmember stuff for Front Range off-road. The plan is to make my own crossmember, i wanted to use a premade Xmember. but the lower link brackets are pretty tight I think it will be easier to just make my own.

I will be using this to start with...

no. im keeping it. I didnt ever really need to sell it. I just like building rigs, but I got some motivation now that my welder is all hooked up and I got my tube bender mounted in the garage.  I plan on getting this thing dialed and hopefully put it to use.

I wanted to try out my bender mount today, so i bent a piece of tube to protect the radiator alittle. The bottom of the radiator sticks about 2.5" below the frame. the guard is not finished, I am going to plate it in and add some kind of hook/eyelet for the winch hook.
stupid people shouldn't have kids.

Jud

You should make a mount to hook the winch to the front axle.
