If I remember right you really didn't want to use the FR one anyways, it is probably for the better they are delayed.  Besides the money you save will pay for a camping/wheeling/:beer: weekend

I got the x-member almost done today. Just have to finish welding a couple things. It got too dark and starting pouring! I'll finish in the morning. I have to bolt on the rest of the exhaust and fill the  diffs, bleed the steering and I should be able to test drive it. I am going to try and make a square D-line for the front also.

I forgot to get any pics but I will tomorrow :smack:

I drove it today! :yesnod: I finished the crossmember this morning and filled all the fluids and bled the steering. When I was bleeding the steering I had the hydro lines crossed... I started it and started to bleed it, and all of a sudden the steering went fully pass. in a hurry!! I shut it off and looked in it and found it was just the lines. Even though I hooked it up just like TG websites shows. :shake:

I got everything bled and it was time to drive it. I was kinda nervous but what the hell.. I drove it from Pat's house to mine. (about a mile) It was all over the road! When I got to my house I started looking into things and all the lugs nuts were less than tight.... :hammerhead: OPPS! tighten those took it around the block. Better but still not right. I took a few degrees out of the caster angle and moved the panhard bar down a hole on the axle side. Dorve it again, No more bumpsteer. and it was less squirrley. It actually drives pretty good! It doesn't return to center very well but I think that is because the stock PS pump has a hard time keeping up with the Ram.

Tomorrow Im taking it to Dave's muffler to have a new tailpipe put on and new hangers made. then I have to make new D-lines for it.  The rear D-line has some bad vibes since it is on the end of the splines. I have to get the rear bumper back on and shorten it and hook up the OBA lines and mount bumpstops then I should be good for a snow run this weekend! :driving:

I can't wait to wheel this thing! It sits just alittle bit high in the front but i think the springs will settle. Its 26" under the front cab mount and 25" under the rear mount. could be lower but im more than fine with it.

right on, it looks clean. make sure you do another once over on tightening everything up before the snow. a aftermarket pump would help the steering a lot. ramrod has the same issues with steering not returning to center very well but it getting it worked out. time for some sliders to protect that clean ride. i highly recommend a hoop for the cab like mine!!!!

Yeah I have a buddy buying my old tires and rims and after that im going to bend over for a PSC pump. I have to adjust the alignment still also. And if I have time after doing the d-lines Im going to do some sliders for it. It will have some kind of cab protection...

How does it drive other than that? Are you running a stock PS pump?  I took mine on the freeway for the first time today. It wasnt too bad. the tires are unbalanced and the new rear driveline I made has a little vib to it. but all in all I can't really complain.

Ramrod

alright a little twitchy and my tires suck and the wind has been howling every time ive driven it

88Rokyoat

You are such a bag of jerk!

The first dent happened a while ago. aint no thang...

I got the square front D-line made today. I had to change the crossmember alittle to make more room for up travel.  I set the alignment too. it drives much better, it was toed out like an inch! :o I set it at 1/8" toed in now and it seems to be pretty good.  I sold my old tires and rims today so I'm going to order up the PSC high output pump and resi kit tonight. BLING BLING!

I got all the metal for the sliders also. Tomorrow I am going to get the rear bumper back on (I shortened it today) and build the sliders and hook up the OBA. So we will make a test run Sunday instead of tom.

88Rokyoat

I got the last few things done today that I wanted to do... I got the rear bumper back on after being cut down 8". Also made some sliders for it. I think they turned out pretty sick. I used 2x2 square under the body and to the frame then 1.75 round tube, and the ex-cab hoop is 1.5". Thanks to Pat I got the york OBA system all hooked up there are couplings at the front and rear. I picked a new Delta tool box from CJ at kragen, he hooked me up on the price some I couldn't pass it up... Should be all ready for a shake down run tomorrow. We'll see how it does

just got back from the snow a little while ago. trip went pretty good. My truck did pretty good, I didnt push it very hard and the snow was awesome! The only small issue I had was my coil-over extended too far and the bottom spring retainer almost fell off. I noticed it when it was about to fall off. I need to get some tender springs and take of that problem. Also need bumpstops front and rear. My GF took like 150 pics so anyone that was up there today and wants some pics, PM me your email I think a have atleast a couple pics of everyones junk.
