I took it apart again yesterday and after the 3rd time having out I figured out the problem. It was MY fault, 100%. I screwed when installing the crawl box the 1st time and didn't catch it til now.  I called MC and they said they would still take care of it and replace the damaged parts. Their shop is 4 hours south of me so I drove down today and got the new parts since it was my Fuk up. I should have it back together tomrw.
ah thats a bummer dude,  its awesome of you to admit it so that all the blame isnt on marlin's parts though :yesnod:

I fully agree but then at the same time Marlin Crawler should have been A LOT more helpful than it sounds like they were...

I am not going to go into the problem. Let's just say I'm a dumbass and it should have never happened but it did...  :hammer:

As far MC's customer service, they took 5 weeks to replace the bearing the first time and was hard to get a hold of by phone at times. But in the end they replaced the parts when they could have told me to pound sand yesterday when I called.

I will have back running tomorrow and hopefully the test drive better than it has, it should be kosher. :crossed:

Maybe. But I've never had to have anybody drive my truck out of hole after getting it stuck. What about you?

Got it all together today and made it back from the test drive without a tow strap or tow truck. It has a little bearing chirp but I think it's the throwing bearing. I'm pretty sure it was doing it before too but it's been so long since drove it, I forget. I still have to put the shifter boots, front d-line and console in tomorrow. Hopfully I will be able to hit the snow this weekend.

I don't get how you need to sell it but would trade for a 4 door taco.... :gap:

Good luck man, its a nice rig, definitely worth the asking price IMO.

the trade consideration is just would I want, doesnt mean the wife would ok it.

Truth is I dont use it enough and it just sits and we could use the money for closing costs.

Had to get a new starter for it today.  Went to start the truck, and it has had a hard time starting but the starter stayed engaged today.
Im planning on going up to the snow Sunday so I figured I should change it.

Took a trip to the snow yesterday. It was a fun trip, but the snow was horrible! My truck ran good, t-cases worked great. About the time we were airing down I saw PS was leaking. The seal around the steering shaft on the box is leaking. The shifter boots need to messed with alittle, it was causing the crawler to pop into N at times. All in all good times.

my plans for this truck is to leave it how it is for a while.

some specs on it...
4.0L v6 with K&N intake, headers, flowmaster muffler, and chip.  5 speed auto tranny. it has a leveling spacers on the front and add-a-leaf in the rear. DVD, navigation stero. 4.56 gears non- TRD
plans are to build some sliders maybe bumpers.  IN the end i would like to run 35s and ARBs. it will be built for the snow and camping and daily driven. I sold my commuter car today so this truck is it.
