i got the jd2 model 32 bender.  i will be using it as a manual bender to start with, but when i picked up my axles last night, the guy said he has a brand new harbor freight hydraulic ram kit for it that he is just gonna give me!  then i just have to buy an electric/hydraulic pump and i will be all setup for hydraulic bending!  i'm really stoked about that

Right on man, I bought the same bender back in december and am just gettin around to settin it up. It makes my buddies model 3 look like a toy!

So i got the bender yesterday, the die is supposed to be here today.  the model 32 is deffinately alot more beefy than the model 3.  I'm stoked to get it setup!  Now if i could just get over this crappy respritory infection i have.... then i could actually get off the couch and set it up.  here are a couple pics of the parts

yeah i gotta stop using my camera phone, it sucks.  i got the 1.66 OD tube die.  its a 4.5" radius, 180 degree die.  ive already built a cage on a cj7 and im doing front, rear bumpers and rocksliders on a 4runner right now. the bender works sick!  bends really smooth without much distortion at all.  i cant wait to get workin on my rig, axles, air shocks, rod ends and a fuel cell are all laying in my garage waiting to be installed

I know it sucks!  Ive been building cages and bumpers and rock sliders for everyone else to pay for all the parts and the tube bender i bought.  Im thinking i can hit it hard in about two weeks.

i think i am going to finally be able to start working on it this weekend!  yeah i would be interested in the hydro assist, let me know whats going on with it.  thats great that wild rice is almost ready to go!  must be pretty exciting

ha ha  yeah man, bring your beer over and drink it!  lol  yeah i think i will bring the plaz cutter home from my parents house on saturday and then on sunday i will start cutting the massive load of brackets off those axles.

i hope its ride height, but who knows how it will turn out.  not much room for an upper link between my exhaust and high pinion.

yeah i have the complete 80 series rear end too.  the rear will pretty much be a bulletproof setup for me i think.  i have never broken a stock minitruck rear end, so im sure i will never have a problem with the beef on the 80 series rear!

Im going out in the garage right now to fire up the plaz and start cleaning up the axles.
