Awesome :gap:  :yesnod:  like the idea of using the cowl to hide wires.
thanks, it worked out pretty good, lots of room in there.

very nice! makin some progress!
thanks, progress has been slow lately.  i have a car stuffed in the garage now too. its a 95 eagle talon tsi (awd turbo model).  it needs a transmission.  The closest place i could find one for a good price was in CO. my buddy is down there this week and picking it up for me.  hopefully i will have that out of the garage in about a week.

did you get that clutch off ebay? im thinkin about the same setup but for a 7m non turbo. have you drove it yet?
yeah its off ebay. the brand is XTD.  Its gonna be a few months before i can drive it.  i still have to get axles, air shocks, and build the link setup.  I started the engine and used the clutch just to make sure its working, but thats it.

SCyotacrawler420

thats awesome your doing a link setup... front an rear? if you dovetail the rear an link front an rear on full widths we will vertualy have the same lookin truck, ha :)

gonna have a sick engine dude!  that will be alot of fun.  Yeah it will be 3 link front with 14" fox air shocks and the rear will be 4 link with same shocks. I'm getting 80 series axles for it next month,  and yes I am also doving the rear.  the rigs interior is stripped out right now so i can start on that this weekend

yeah debt sucks!  i love having my own house and stuff, but i hate making the payment!  i dont really have much extra money to spend on the runner right now.  i was planning on doing a big job on a buddies rig for 2k.  sounds like that might not be working out now.  that really sucks cuz i was gonna use 800 of that for my 80 series axles :(

thats how I have been getting parts for my rigs.... damn side jobs... thats why I just wanna stick with my damn leafs and what not so I can get the engine built, throw the cage and sliders on and figure out the bumper situation! I figure in a few years i'll have all the stuff to do the links/2jz/tons on my 92 and wheel the piss outta the runner in the meantime!

damn that would kick ass!!!! tube bender.....  thats another reason I need my own shop, sidejobs at home and I can work on my own rig at home too.. Here at work i have to have the rig out in the back by monday morning so all the bays are cleared up. I had my 92 in here for a year and my foreman started flippin my :pokinit: so I finally pulled a couple late nighters and got the frame welded back on and moved it out with the forklift....

looks like 32" to the front of my v6 radiator. That leaves me about 1 1/8" between the radiator and the stock fan pulley.  I am using an external electric fan that barely fits between the grill and radiator.  My engine head is about 1" from the firewall and i still had to cut the innerstructure out so i could move the radiator forward a bit.

at least they aren't too spendy I guess. The reviews from most people that break them in right are saying they have no problems with them so who knows.. but definitely an eye opener..

Supra clutches are not cheap in general.

Its ALWAYS worth spending the money on a good clutch.... I put the Marlin 1800# semi metallic in my 93 and it rocks in all areas. Great for DD'ing and hooks up awesome offroad  my 85 runners gettin the same clutch but ceramic with a 35 lb. flywheel, should be reeeeealllll nice :beerchug:

I'd say break yours in real nice and dont slip it. As long as you know how to drive clutch without slippin the :pokinit: out of it then it SHOULD last a descent amount of time!

? unless you have an automatic you still "USE" your clutch...... right? The clutch is a coupler between your engine and transmission so if you have a manual transmission then you HAVE to use it.... just sayin....
