Hell yeah! I have to tear her engine out this week and go through it.... yuck!!! But she is paying me well since she appreciates the time and quality of my work!
I just picked up my runner from the old house and dropped it off at the shop, towed it in there with a dual axle tilt deck trailer hooked to my 93! Talk about sittin on the bumpstops....

thanks dude, yeah its got a v6 rad in it. seems to work pretty good

thanks! i posted some pics on the last page from as far back as possible. i cant get any farther back cuz my garage isnt big enough!

Ya but your pics from far back are not with the new hood on man!! Hop to it son!! You should of posted a pic of the new 30degree elbow you built man, that thing was kick n fo sho!

yeah they dont show the hood, sorry man! i forgot to take a pic of the elbow before i installed it. i will probly take it back off soon and maybe have the guys at work powdercoat it for me.

So I got the other new clutch today and it looks like its gonna work! I'm planning on installing the drivetrain back in the truck this weekend. here are a couple pics of the clutch

thats what i wanted! So i had some issues fitting this clutch. obviously the bellhouing adaptor is made to use a stock toyota clutch. i bolted the new one on and put the tranny up there and the clutch rubs on the inside of the bellhousing. i had to grind down the edges of the clutch flanges where it bolts to the flywheel. they were sticking out past the flywheel about 1/16 to an 1/8 all the way around. i got that all clearanced and sanded a few high spots around the inside of the bellhousing and I thin its good to go now!

Not a whole lot the last few days. been working long days. I have the next four days off so I plan on clearancing the passenger floor some more for the new rotated case setup. then I want to get the drivetrain pushed up to where i want it and start designing a new cross-member/skid-plate setup. I also need to get a battery hooked up and start up the truck again to make sure everything still works fine after moving a bunch wiring around. then i need to mount the battery in the back and get the cables ran to it. those are just a few of the things i need to do right now, and i will work on that as much as i can over the holidays.

So the clutch and drivetrain is back in! clutch seems to be working properly. also after all the wiring re-routing and cleaning up of the harness, i was a little skeptical that something stupid would happen when i tried to start it up aggain. i hooked up the battery last night and it fired right up on the first crank! everyhting seems to be working great, im super stoked about that! now i have to clearance my floor a bit more for the rotated case. then i can get the drivetrain pushed up a bit more and build m new x-member

yeah i will get some pics of it. basically there are no wires on the outside of the engine bay anymore. I moved three seperate harnesses that are used for the swap from along the firewall to inside the cowl area. almost all of the remaining wiring is mounted to the firewall, with just a couple things on the side of the innerstructure for the fenders. i wanted to get all the wiring off the inner fenders cuz i might end up completely cutting them out. Also tonight i got all the bolts holding the drivetrain together tightened up and done. Filled up the tranny and cases with 80-90. I am getting axles soon. I will be using money from a side project to buy those.

Right on man, glad to hear you finally cleaned up that ratness of a harness from the PO!

yeah it was a nest thats for sure. i had a big ol freakin pile of wires on the floor after cleaning up parts of that harness

here is a couple quick pics i took. I ended up moving the fuse box onto the firewall cuz it just worked best that way. there are no wires behind the fenders anymore like they had from the factory. everything now comes from inside the truck, into the cowl, and then into the engine bay. there are still quite a bit of wires visible, but everything is now more centrally located and contained so it doesnt look like a big mess.

I got some work done on the floor this weekend. Now that my t-case is rotated, I had to cut and clearance the floor some more on the pass side. I finished that up on sunday and I am starting to work on my new x-member tomorrow. floor turned out pretty good, nothin special. It just barely fits under the seat rail now, but everything should be fine. here are a few pics...... and the last two pics are of how i ran my wiring harnesses from the cab into the cowl and then into the engine bay.
