yeah its a retro ifs housing. I will let you know how it goes with the e lock. should be doin it pretty shortly here. just waiting for my buddy to bring his multimeter over. I'm stoked to get it out wheelin too! and get it lower. I will see how it wheels compared to the pumkin tomorrow. I'm thinkin during thanksgiving i'm gonna lower it another two inches. I will have four days off to work on it.
Oh yeah and thats a Sky Off Road 3/4 drop pitman arm. it is pretty

yeah thats what it is.

well we screwed around with that stupid e-lock forever last night and couldnt figure it out! Also while we were in the garage i replaced the air filter and cleaned the MAF sensor. they were so clogged with oil and dirt i dont know how the truck was even running! so i go to start it last night after doing that and it runs HORRIBLE now

the check engine light came on right away and it hardly even stays running

I try to do a little maintenence and this crap happens! I'm pissed

its the mass air flow sensor. its fucked since i cleaned it out. i'm pissed, wrecking yard wants 225.00 for a used one and napa wants 375.00 for a new one! i try to do a little maintenance and this is what happens, bull crap!

Does the non turbo 7m maf cross over? I can probly get you one for 10-20 from a yard here if so. I have a lot of info about a problem I found with putting an elocker in an IFS housing. I spent 2 solid days figuring out the cause and solution but I have it nailed.. Im going to do a write up about it on my build page tonight or tomorrow, youll definately want to check it out

i'm not sure if the MAF crosses over, i would have to call toyota and ask i guess. Yeah we are stumped by that stupid e-locker so i will deffinately check out what you have gotten figured out.

Also we just got back from a super good time of night wheelin! I threw the 37's back on pumkin and took her out. It was a blast! we did a pretty hard trail, my buddy got alot of pics, i will have to get them emailed to me

just found a complete MAF with aluminum piping and everything on supra mania for 50 bucks shipped! I already payed the dude and he is shipping it tomorrow

Hey nice sick lime green truck there. Wish it had 4 wheels that work instead of 3. HA HA lol stupid stock birfields anyhow. Was a great time though. yeah it will be out this weekend! I cleaned up all the wires inside the cab tonight. now there isnt a bunch of crap from the stereo and ecu harness all over the place. I also pulled the shifter boots out so i can trim a bit of the floor. I plan on pushing the drivetrain up this week and building a quick crossmember for it. the way they installed that engine leaves it really low in the back. the whole drivetrain is pointing down in the back quite a bit so i have tons of room to push the case up into the floor! gonna gain lots of clearance yo!

Hey Caleb, I asked my buddy about the problem. Here is his response copied and pasted:
"You can't clean out the Karmen Vortex. He ruined it. He can use the sensor from a lexus 4.0 V8 or a non-turbo 2JZGE. Have him go to supraforms, there are lots for sale, or a lexus forum."

Probably not all inclusive, but may be of some help.

so i started on my new t-case x-member/skid last night. pushed the drivetrain up over two inches, plus i am building my own x-member to replace the stock low hanging one. i took some measurements before and after i jacked it up to where it will be. Before the lowest point was 18.5" (bottom of stock x-member) after is going to be 22.5" to the lowest point. I am pretty stoked for a total of four inches clearance gain! here's before and after pics. I got all the parts made up real quick at work today, now i have to go out and fit it all up and weld it. Its not going to be a real fancy skid plate but it will work great for now. eventually i will be adding on a second 23 spline case and link suspension, so i will be building a whole new skid plate then.
