caleb- i have a known good 2jz maf here- like i said- you can borrow it, but i will need it back someday, just pay for shipping and you can test/use it to figure out whats wrong.

also- look at the ecu- make sure that all the pins are properly seated in the plugs, and that the plugs have no rust or corrosion. shot in the dark- but free

for sure. I hate wiring expecially stuff I didnt do or don't know for sure. But I would try to get an AMF off somehting that runs to test like crawlerdan suggested.

caleb- i have a known good 2jz maf here- like i said- you can borrow it, but i will need it back someday, just pay for shipping and you can test/use it to figure out whats wrong.

yeah i have checked everything possible in all the wiring and connections, everything is working properly.  I am almost positive i got stuck with another bad AFM.  Will the 2jz AFM work on my engine?  i didnt think it would, but i guess i dont know for sure.  like they were saying on supramania forum "different AFM's will plug in but they send different signals so they dont work properly"  Thanks for the offer, but unless you know for sure that one will work on my engine, i will probly not go that route.

Whoa Whoa slow down. It's only a little electrical problem. Although I left the wires there so a 22RE could plug back in. But that also assisted in the bulk of wires by the ECU.

yeah i have, but then i remembered that i wouldnt be able to break the 37's loose and squeal em on the street while i'm drivin through town But i guess a 22re would probly have cheaper parts, that would be the only benefit!

no i have not made an order yet.  i have been really busy with other stuff.  I still need to get the damn 4runner fixed before i even order anything. i might just have to bite the bullet and buy a brand new AFM

Ya now were talk n horses for shur!! Ha HA gotta love it, been rock n the 22re for a long time. Ya can drive those things with the rods poke n out da sides of block to. HA HA Might be a good idea, reliability reasons ya know. Parts are cheaper thats for sure and more of them around!!

no 22re's are old now! if you were to swap in anything the only way to go is a 3.4l... and if you need more power than that just supercharge it!
