So what, is the motor just resting on the mounts?  Why do you ask?  There isn't a big difference though, I put a 22r rockstomper mount on my 3.0, bolted up just fine.

the mounts are in a different spot..... they mounts themselves will work, but the actually little horns on the frame where they mount are not in the same spot

the issue isnt the mount itself, it is what the mount sits on... it is located in different spots on the engine.... so the frame horns arent in the same spot as they are for the other engine.....

4cyl motor mounts are further towards the front of the truck by about an inch.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

blackdog is running aftermarket 4cyl mounts on a v6 i believe....

it isnt the mounts are longer, it is that what the mount attaches to on the frame is in a different spot
