got my hydro stuff yesterday, i told them but they didnt order me the steering linkage and the clevis ends. and it was missing a few fittings. so now im waiting on that stuff. im about to order some beard seats right now

i stoped by harbor frieght today and picked up a tubing notcher, air sissors, and for $50 i got a 2,000 lb winch. for an extra $10 i got a 2 year warranty. hopfully it will work good enough for a rear suck down winch.

got my front brakes plumed and bled. ordered a new fan and some hood pins. and my new springs and hydro parts should be here soon. its coming together pretty quick now.

oh ya i just ordered 120' of 1.5" DOM for my cage and back half

that looks WAY more better!! and it looks like you were able to use the side pieces off the original and cut and reworked on the new one? so it wasnt a total waste of material. those spiked tube ends are badass too

ya i reused most of the tubing from the origonal design. i think it wasted like 2 feet, no big deal. i do like it alot better also. wish i had a little more tube to make the hoop a little taller

who did you order tubing through? perry im guessing...i order 60 lf. of chrome alloy .120 wall for my cage and 60 lf. of .095 for the cross bars. any more dom tubing on my truck i would be a freakin tank. give me a call later i got a brushless set up for the stadium truck and it halls a$$ probly a good 50 plus mph

i ordered my steering linkages and some fittings they forgot to put in the box last time, last friday. stuff that should be in stock. a week latter and still not here. blows my weekend of seting up the steering

well havent really felt like updating, but its been coming along.

got all my parts for my steering. its all hooked up and works great. i still have to figure out a way to limit the ram and figure out how much too limit it.

for the most part though i just been doing a bunch of small stuff. trying to get all the small stuff done before i start on the cage.

i also found two of the same body style trucks at my local salvage yard so i got the doors off it for $50. i already cut them up. i have some pics but i cant find the cord to my camera.

i know, i had to take the glass out or they wanted $100 a pair. i think im gonna go back and get the fenders too. the place only charges $25 for anything other than engine, trannys, and axles.

jimbo84 came by today and traded me my 22re for a rear disc brake set up. i painted my cab(took about ten minutes) bolted my fenders back up and started on my fender mounts. unfortanatly one of my shock hoops is at more of an angle than the other so i have to tweek it over a little so the resi line doesnt hit the fender. ill get pick tomorow

got it all pretty much bottoned up. still have a few things here and there. i def need some different leafs. i bearly let of the clutch and i get super bad axle wrap.

exo will be sweet.  i am partial to the exo if it is built right.  i am in the middle of rebuilding the whole back half of my rig too so i will be doing some new tube work there also.
