Hey ya'll  I haven't been around much cuz I've been workin my :moon: off in planning this wedding that's coming up on the 6th.  :willynilly: :yikes: :outtahere: :aaa: :willynilly:

Anyway, our cake is going to be a rock pattern and we are going to have 1/32 scale models of our rigs on the cake for our topper.  SO, here's what I've got to start with.  I'm going to use the Amigo and 1st Generation Toy bodies and I'm HOPING to put them on these little chassis'.  My dilemma is the Toyota doesn't fit on these chassis.  So I'm thinking I might have to cut a hole in the bed for the 'motor' to come through the bed so that the body sits down on the 'frame' of the chassis.

I hate to cut the Toyota up.  It's in GREAT condition.  Any other suggestions rather than cutting it? Any other chassis ideas?

You can kinda tell by my hand how small these are:

(sorry for the cell phone pics.  The camera has been at Matt's mom's for 2 weeks  )

The chassis they are supposed to go on:

:hyper:   OMG that is so cool!!!  hahaha.  I don't have any suggestions because I have zero experience with this, but that is going to be the coolest cake ever!

but the  migo is white :headscratch: not blue

And the yota is black not orange :hahaha: I haven't got around to painting them yet, I'm still trying to figure out how we're going to set them up.  I have a chassis for the Amigo if push comes to shove, but I don't have anything that fits the yota yet.

I have a 1/32 scale cherokee.. that's what I got before Matt got rid of it.  Sooo, since he switched to the 1st gen, I had to scour the world wide web lookin for a 1st gen 1/32 scale and I finally found one.

If your looking for idea's here is a few to be had on our wedding cake.  My mother in law made it all from scratch... That lady has some serious ninja skills when it comes to cakes...  My father in law painted the "bride and groom" trucks on the top after my wife gave him a basic rundown on how she had painted my truck.

Neither of us had any clue she was doing something this nuts, we expected something cool but she went off the hook for sure.  Oh and the waterfall was functional and the "rocks" were jelly beans :gap:

Yup if you wanted to get diabetes this was your cake to have....  :hahaha:  The heart, sign and the posts holding the sign were made from sugar...  The flowers, grass and grey "rock formations" were all frosting.  Now that I think back some of the rocks were actually rocks but only the big ones the rest I know were jelly beans.

I'd say it looks like the rocks around the waterfall are real rocks and the rocks below that on the ground look like jelly beans.
What does the sign say?
By the looks of the outfits in the second pic I'd guess it wasn't actually a formal affair. LOL
