Yup, it has been quite the "journey".

I finished off the frame last night but couldn't get on so no pics.

The man in brown showed up late today...and Johnny began the assault immediately.  Lamenting his lack of opposable thumbs, he used his next best weapon - 0.60 inch talons!  He was nice enough to take care of the tape for me.  Good Kitty.

I am going to mount it so that the bottom of the tank sits about 4 inches below the bottom of the frame rails.  This should position the floor of the flatbed just higher than the original 4Runner floor sat.  I started out making the rear tank crossmember, it will install by lifting it in from below...I think.  The second cross member will have to be installed on the tank and then the assembly bolted to the frame as I install the tank.  Kind a pain, but it is a big tank for that spot.  It should leave enough room on the dr side for a couple gallon air tank as well.

Well my friend, there will be no in-tank pump this time.  In-line electric pump will be mounted forward of the tank along the inner frame rail.  It will sit in its own little skid-plate/box for protection.

Couldn't even get an hour in the garage before it starts to rain again.
Did get the front crossmember bent and started to weld more sheetmetal.

:werd:  seems to me a garage is the thing that allows you to do that?  :dunno:

The rain comes in my garage.  When it rains hard the gutters overflow and it starts to come inside like a big, slow moving blob puddle.  I can't close the door because I will probably suffocate in the heat and die.

Just put a nice fancy one right over your garage space, and then when you move, take it with you :gap: and turn it into something on your runner

Or you could report it, telling them that the puddle is endangering your life by causing potential electrical shock conditions to you while you are welding and grinding in your garage.  I'd bet they'd hop right on it then :gap:

you could tell them that also, with no puddle you wont have to grind or weld as much, cause you can do everything right the first time instead of fighting a puddle for power
