The Durabak is here I can finally start putting the inside together!
It is light grey.  I didn't want dark grey, they had no medium...it is pretty light, but it looks nice.
It says the stuff doesn't last long once you open the can.  I don't have much time each evening so I did everything I could to seal it back up air tight.

Well, I figured I would just replace what rusted out in the NE winters with bedliner.  This way when the rest of the metal falls out I will still have a floor.

yea  2 coats is the recommended amount from Durabak. The stuff is pretty solid....Ive had it in my truck for a while now..... It's used for military (like shipdecks) and commercial (like hospitals and schools) applications. I did recommend the third coat on the driver footwell where your feet sit under the pedals......

I ordered up the compressor. It is an Al tank Maxus, only draws 7.8amps max.  Puts out more than a QA 12V compressor.  Should have more than enough inverter to handle it.
Will mount right behind the pass. seat.  Weighs less than 30#s with the Al tanks.

The compressor is here.  It is even lighter than I expected.  This caused me to make a change in plans.  I am not going to bolt it into the e-rack, I make provisions to strap it in.  This way I have the choice to easily remove it and leave it with the tow rig or take it with me.
I finished the rack and took a couple pictures to see the size of it in the truck.

Close...need the batteries to get it started, need rear brakes, need to get the front bumper fender bar area tied down.  Other than that it is mostly installing all this stuff back inside the stoopid truck.  Oh and spacers for the rear so the tires will clear the coil buckets.

Finally installing instead of destructing!  Getting room back in the garage too!!!  It all fits as planned with just enough room between the compressor and batteries to bungee down my small tool bag.  Got started on the tire carrier as well.  Now that the rack is installed I can get the carrier in and finally get the spare tire up and off the garage floor.  I really need the space.

The only 12V compressors that come CLOSE to putting out the air this one does are the OASIS and the 497 Viair, both WELL over $400.  Instead I bought the 120V for $200 plus the inverter, and still haven't equaled the price of the Viair.  And the Viair doesn't come with tanks for $400 either...that is just bare compressor.

I did the math and all my homework and decided I got the most bang, and air, for the buck this way.
