Whatchu mean...the autopsy is over...bad bearing.  Found it, replaced it, grinder is back in service.

Okay, there she be.  I need to weld in one more brace underneath and then a last stage of paint and the winch can go back on.  From the outside, though, that is what she is gonna look like.

Holy moly, close call.  The winch BARELY fits in there.  One more degree on the front panel angle and it would have been all over.
Got a little product review.  Wanted something durable to coat the winch access panel skid plate with.  Was gonna use Duplicolor spray on liner but Wally world doesn't have it anymore?  Instead they had this Plasticote liner stuff.  All I can say is this is by far the nicest cheapo liner product I have used so far.  It comes outta the can like a rocket and goes on looking like crap.  But it self levels and then developes the texture after about 10 minutes and ends up looking really good.

I used it when I did the Rockers on the 85.... I really liked how it turned out as well.

it's like 3 bucks a can or somethin.

Bumper assembly all finished and I am all ready for the weekend.  I have 2 days OFF!!!  Time for the disk brake swap!
I am not sure about the roller fairlead.  I might have to switch back to the plain cast one.  It looks odd.

I am gonna have brakes!!!  YAY!
Those spacers did the trick, plenty of clearance for the brackets...def. wide.  I am just a little concerned about the calipers hangin out there.  I guess we shall see, I can always build them a skid plate if it comes to it.
