This is another option I was considering, the other being invest it in oil, but I hear barrel prices are projected to fall to around $60 within the next year, so I'd be much better off investing then.

So I got a little envelope today from the irs and was :woohoo: that it came so fast... then opened it to find it was a letter telling me how much I was getting and that I should have it tomorrow or any time within the next couple weeks.  What a frickin waste of paper just to tell me I'm getting a check soon  :shake:

My wife emailed me yesterday to let me know our deposit arrived and then sent me a link to a great way to spend it.  We found a 50 inch DLP TV with an LED light engine for a great price and they included a DVD player with a 1080p upconverter.  We were planning to get a new TV but hadn't figured out what size or technology to get.  All things being equal we would have been looking closer to the low to mid 40's, but DLP are the best bang for the buck and there are very very few under 50 inch on the market.  Quite an upgrade from the 32 inch tube it's replacing.

I know thw feeling. I went from a 32" tube to a Phillips 51" rear projection (probably not the best but I paid $160 for it) & I love it  :yesnod: Last month I picked up a Sony 50" for the bed room. I know your saying  50" for the bed room  :yikes: but I paid

A good portion of ours went to Costco and Walmart this weekend!  Kinda stocked up on things for the summer.  I got $72.10 worth of Briquet's for the BBQ!   :willynilly:

No worries abnormaltoy I could use to as vice.. I already have a secretary of defense (OR state pen guard) and a few other appointments made but vice is open for my run at the election in 2016 when I'm old enough to run.. Too bad I miss it in '12 by 3 weeks....
