Do you have any codes? If so, what are the code #'s if you have them?
Swap your coils and see if the miss changes cylinders. Chances are you got a coil going bad we've replaced a bunch of them for mis-fires.
I had a miss fire on our van and it was the spark plug boot had a crack in it. New plug boots too~!
Ok so the code is P0303 Misfire #3 cylinder is all it says.Since I've replace the spark plugs and coil/wires then I think I'm down to 2 possibilities:1. The coil hooked up to the computer on the PS of the engine is bad, but then I would think that 2 of the cylinders would be misfiring...2. The Injector on the #3 cylinder is bad, kinda makes more sense to me, but sounds like a PITA to change. Anybody know how much an injector costs?Advice? Options? Ideas? Bacon?
this is about the best suggesrtion ive seen, seafoam wont help, its not a clogged injectortoyota has codes for injectors, a misfire is seperate. it is actually as simple as it sounds-#3 is not firingcheck coil packs, all wires going to coils, make sure that if you swap em around you remember wheich is which, toyota also will flag misfire if compression is abnormally low in a cylender

Mini the injector is not as bad as it seems to change out. How did you realize the injector was bad? I suggest before you replace the injector go the local dealership i ask for a fuel injector service it is a pressurized can of cleaner you have to take the fuel pump loose and tie it into the line. It done wonders on my 3.4 but only problem is the tool to it is a dealer tool. Don't seem to sound like a jerk but are you sure you actually working on cyl. 3. I've seen alot guys get the cylinders mixed up.
reset the computer by pulling the groung off the battery for 5 mins at least.drive for a few days under normal conditions, check again
could have been a loose connection on that coil, causing misfire.
don't worry bro I still have it. We can grab it whenever.
