The new rear tailights look nice, glad you got that problem worked out. Is there a story behind the different colored tailgate?

Sluice Box Hero

much better.  flares are gay, leave them off.  i think my truck is 26" to the frame on 42s.  any lower and it would start to drag like kyles limo, when are the duals going in?  you got an extra 2k to put towards the goodies.  get a lefty case $800 for just the lefty part, and then you can still gear the rear case. . . . totally sick.

Flares suck.  Those 01+ Tacomas are lame like that.

He got hit by his buddy and the tail gate that was on it was all fagged off and dented so he found me a new one the day before i got it and just painted it really ghettoly with some aweful paint and painted over the stickers.... it looks gay

Yeah right... I have like 300 bucks left.

I used most of the money into my credit card/loan, spent 450 for stupid parts, spent 300 on a stereo (deck and sub) and spent a lot more on random parts that it needed.

Duals arent going in for a long time. Not getting a lefty case. Im keeping the tacoma case. No i dont want to get a new housing and swap all the stuff. Id rather spend more money and just get the adapters needed.

Looks sick. How are the 4.88s and a 3rz. I want 37s but don't really wanna change r/p. I drive to class everyday too.

Its fine. Like i have said numerous times its not like my old 3.4 but this thing still gets it pretty good.

Stepping up to 37s with 4.88s will be no problem

Today I did a bunch of junk. Took out the bed liner, cleaned it out, washed it, and did some random things. Also the rear came up like two inches so i lowered it like an inch or so and just am going to leave it for now. I need to get rid of those ridiculous shackles so thatll drop it also. Then I went and flext it a few times. Out at the air port and then out off highway 32

Im pretty impressed on the flex. It got just about the same height as my old truck did...and my old truck was longer. Pretty sweet. Forward though it wasnt that great but my other truck wasnt either... Probably coulda gone a little more but didnt want to.

Damn, that thing looks way better than when you got it. Glad to see you ditched the f*g tail lights and those gay fender flares. id take the holes over those pieces of crap any day. The single cab trucks look sweet but I could never own one, I am 6'3" and I like the extra room of the extra cab. I like this one better then the last though that front clip is sweet. are you going to make your own tube bumper for the front? I take it you ditched the one it came with for good....?

anyway, looking good :beerchug:

Thanks...

Im just going to try to re work that bumper that i got with the truck and somehow get it back on... for now. Id like to make a new one eventually.

I liked the extra room of the ex cab also because I have a 12" sub behind the seat and even for me being short, I feel a little claustrophobic in there. People who sit in the pass side hate life because the dash is only like 10" from the front of the seat.

Considering it was close to the same spot as my other truck... 42-48 inches... Probably about 42

Gonna bob the bed?   Truck looks way good without the flares, even if there are holes in the fenders. I took my flares off too and sold the snorkel :) Should be getting my new MT/R's this week sometime!! Then I'm going to sell the swing out tire holder and put a tailgate back on. I can never make up my mind!

you kidding me?!! any lower and i think you wouldnt like it. im at 25" to the frame and 24" to that bucket that gaurds my cases and i hit them not a lot, but probably 3-4 times. any lower and i think id be dragging to much ass everywhere.

I guess my frame height is fine for now. I just dig how these trucks look really low with HUGE ass tires and cut fenders. I think I just need some 40's or something  :hahaha:

And it's probably going to be white soon because the roll on black boat paint (pictured above) peels off if I get a dent in the truck. Total crap paint for a wheeler!

Where did you pick up the 01-04 tail lights? I swapped my rear tail lights to the new style and had to search around for a while to find good condition stock 01-04 tails.
