I own both and I've wheeled both, both have pros and cons. I'm more biased against poser douchebags who don't wheel their built rigs than I am against any type of brand.

In my eyes if you own a 4wd and wheel it, you're cool in my book. If you own the typical 4" lift and 33's Wrangler with all the bolt on crap, and it NEVER even sees the dirt, you're dead to me. In my experience however some Taco owners are just as ignorant as the majority Wrangler owners.
