Did you connect the wire to the anti diesel silonoid?  It needs to have switched power or it will cut the fuel going to the carb.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

Jared----that kinda sounds like the fuel SCREEN located at where the fuel line joins the carb. It unscrews..and there's a metal "thimble" screen  in there...check it out.

see the thing is that when i went to pick n pull i saw a toyota with not one spec of dirt.  it lookedclean.  it looked like they planned on keepin that trucjk. the cylinder head was brand spankin new, there was not one spec of dirt or grime were the spark plug hole is, the rocker arm assembly was brand spankin new and it ha da brand new fuel pump cause it still had this funky sticker on it ssaying that it was shipped to the store 3 weeks ago. then i wondered what the truck was doing at pick n pull and man thatrear half of the truck wa s just totaled.  think about a truck with its rear axle moved about 11 inches forward.  it had a busted windshield right in front so you could see were the driver hit their head.  man i felt bad.  oh y ah the truc k also had a brand new carb as well.  what a find...   :beerchug:
