OK so i have been pondering what 2 do with the gauges i got and had a idea

not line of sight   but i can lean over and see them

I knew i would have 2 replace this hose sooner or later  (  power steering hose gose 2 cooler )

well sooner is here    any one know the size/diamiter

I don't wana down the truck  bad weather coming/and or  i might have 2 go out.

yes i do... but thats why you hide the lines and wires BEHIND the a-pod thingy..... you wont see it.

ok worked on the back brakes sunday.

Been having ajusting problems/p-brake.

The lever for the right side P-brake arm was packed with dirt  from mud puddles i recon   took me 30mins 2 get that drum off    and kinda chiped the pad  The left side came off like in 2mins 

Cleaned them sanded the pads alittle    the pads are worn funny  from rust/mudd bight in there but have plenty of meat   I still got 2 ajust them more  I can still spin the tires with the p-brake on

O and for my noise   im starting 2 get worried.   

This only lasts for a 20secs-min  when starting cold   + the cold Idle is high  I forget how 2 ajust that. <--help

1. maybe the ajuster for the Tchain   and the chain is slaping on the metal giude till it works right   
2. 1or 2 rockets are not geting oil for a few secs
3. pistion rod/crank  not geting oil for a few secs


well got plenty of oil pressure 83 PSI at cold Idle 

and of couse its 43 out side so no knock      i got about 200 miles on this oil  im gont let it warm up and idle down  then change it

you did clean all the oiling holes in the head and block with a  bore brush right ?

you are running a 10w40  right

the head/block was machine shop cleaned.

and yes 10/30 moible syth

ok on start-up it jumps 2 90pis then comes down 2 70    but jumps @ over 100  on throttle-up

maybe the guage is air bubbled

what brand of oil pressure guage ??
i use a sunpro from autozone


my truck has always  had 80 psi  at start up  but comes down after its warm

it came down 2 40 at idle but is still getting up 2 90 at rpms


and now i got a anti-freeze leak from a spring clamp on the throttlebody    what a monday    got run 2 the store and grab a hose clamp 

I think im gona call them in a bit  then maybe slap on this oil pump from my master engingbiulder kit

OK oil pressure problem fixed      Replaced the LC pro oil pump    with the one from the enginebiulders mater kit 

cold idle 60 psi
warm temp  40 psi idle    65 psi at 3000+ rpms  ( same as the LC pro ad4tized )

change the oil

mounted the oil P guage i have


Now I talk 2 tech at LC       took the LC pump apart  I see    it has 2 go back 2 them for a new one or credit. 


Got check the truck 2 marrow  and see if it still knocks  I think it will

OK so this knock is driving me crazy

So i decided 2 pull the valve cover and check on t-chain slapisum   ( never had a metal wear pad before)

This is at 1pm sunny out
( moter off) so i take the cover off  and use a screw driver 2 check the long side of the chain theres a lot of defletion more then what i think there should be.

Now its 8pm and dark.
( coil unhooked)  I had my buddy crank the moter over  2 watch the tensioner it moved a little but not as much as the slack i had.

(so I tell him started/turn it right off oils gonna go flying)  well i did not get 2 see the tensioner  I don't believe the amount of oil that came off the front of the cam was crazy oil was on my face all over my hood/engine    ground next 2 the truck and my moms car 8 feet away.

I put the cover back on  im heading over 2 the car wash ATM

trying 2 take the bed off 2 fix the rust problem..................... but i can't get the dam bolts outs iv been at it for hrs im ready 2 say f it

Ok heres a update phase 1 is not done but since i got no yob i got get it done befor i get one.


So im starting on the rear frame.

I pulled the bed off sat/sunday   some bolts where cut off some cam out

the bed has a nice home for the meantime   got rust there 2 i got fix.

truck looks so cool i almost don't wana put the bed back on.

ya i got take off the class 3  and exaust end.  i got a alot 2 clean up.   the rest of the frame seams solid so im gona forgo plateing.
