any pics of that harness would be cool, doues ithave the engine, headlights, engine fuse block harnesses?

The engine harness is just the chunk of wireing that plugs into the computer and runs to all the injectors and most of the sensors on the engine itself.  the rest is still on the truck.

Alrighty, UPDATE. So i got the taco shocks on, they bolt in place and are toooooo long. i bottom out often and am looking for 2wd taco shocks from a '05 -'07. The Intake swap went smoothly, I had read about it and wanted to try it for the better cold starts air bypass valve. and improved throttle response/small power increase. The things out need to swap it in are the newer intake throttle body and intake house elbow, you also need the bypass hoses that run through the t, the fitting for the one bypass hose that pops out beside the t-stat housing, (old on is a 90 degree elbow and the new one is straight up)  the pcv hose that runs from the old upper intake to the valve cover needs to be replaced with the newer style that runs to the tb instead on the intake. I changed my t-stat at the same time to the fancy double valve one. so far the intake has made a mild difference. if your truck runs fine and you don't think you need any more power etc. don't bother lol. i didn't notice much difference.

old Intake, TB, and Air Valve.

old intake inlet, notice blockage at the top.

newer intake, no blockage.

I also changed the door hinges. First you paint the old ones...

... SO you can see where the new ones go.  :cheese:

FIN

Then i put my bumper on. none of the holes lined up, and my exhaust was in the way.  here are pics lol.

Thanks guys. I got 2 more wheels the another day to complete another set of factory steelies. I'm going to throw my 33's on them sometime next week and keep the set thats on there now for mall crawling and and pavement pounding lol. aside from that the trucks probly going to stay the same for a while untill i can build up funds. I'd really like to throw some sliders on it next.

Thanks guys. A little update for you. I don't know if i posted this but last year somtime i ditched the electric fan i spent all my monies on because it was a real pita, never really worked right. and when i took it off to wash all the mud off it it screwed up and stuck on all then time. So i took one of the clutch fans off my parts truck and bolted it on. worked perfect and infact I actually missed that wooshing noise haha. Recently my belt has been slipping upon startup, and when i rev it over 3 grand it also slips. I couldn't quite pinpoint the source both belts were tight. so yesterday it was really bothering me and so I looked at everything, and just before i closed my hood i decided to give the fan a spin. UH oh, it feels like the internals ass blew up inside and its hard to spin. like there is some kinde of mechanicle obstruction. Anyways. it would normally be an easy fix because i would have had a fan or 2 in my basement but i didn't because when i had the  E-fan my friends clutch fan went and i gave him the 2 i had in my basement. (because the first one didn't work) so now i have to drive to my aunts house where my parts trucks are to get one. Maybe i will rip the clutch apart and take pictures lol.
On another note, i noticed at some point (I think when i changed air box lids) I switched out my modded afm to a stock one. I wanted to put the modded one back in to see if it would make a difference with the header, exhaust, cam and the new late model intake swap. for giggles i poped the top off it and moved it another click rich so now its 3 clicks rich. I tried it out yesterday and WOW it made a noticable difference. Not really more power but I notice its WAY more torquey at lower rpms and is much more responsive. alot more fun to drive. my exhaust sounds like it used to also, wich i like better. deeper, angrier. less like a honda civic and a little more wrx. Not that it even sounds like either.  Ohh its still slow though lol.

33's are on. they only rub at full Lock. feels like its rubbing the spring. I'm not going to worry about it for now lol, i don't want to put the wheelspacers on, maybe just to see what it looks like. I washed my truck today and it looked extra purdy so i took some Xtreme poser shots lol. I also got rid of the bilstien front shocks and ordered the 2wd tacoma rear shocks '05+ from my work. I put them on friday and they are 1000000 times better. no more bottoming out, and i tried. It says right on the shocks that they are made by tokico. they are defiantly a bit longer than stock so i should have some more droop. anyways here's the important part.... PICS :hammerhead:

Thanks man, its not really as clean as everybody thinks, there are a million little scratches, pin stripes, chips and a few rust bubbles. What do they say, good from far but far from good lol.

Haha come on now that is still a clean, straight and pretty second gen. Looks good as always. They are never going to be perfect. :)

SolidAxle

Yeah, I don't really care that its not perfect, its a truck. Its a little sad thinking its probably just going to get worse, but I always remind myself that it would be alot more fun lol. I think hmm do i want a nice truck thats sits and does nothing or do i want a truck thats dosen't look as nice but Is full of good stories and is more fun to drive. Obviously you can see the path i've chosen. around here there are lots of trees and they like to give you custom pin striping. luckily it dosn't show up too bad untill you look close.

As said before super clean truck! The rear bumper looks good too, but I never understood why they don't make the bumper to cover the whole lower panel, all the way to the wheel well. anyways looks good!

yeah i'm not sure. I've got a pic of a truck thats bobed so that his marlin bumper (unmodified) does exactly that. In the future if i get bored and trust my bodywork SKILLZ enough I may bob it so it does that.

The fuzz gave me crap for my licence plate being blocked the other day so i bent it up a bit. hopefully i won't get any more trouble from them. He pulls up beside me and says "HEYY, That makeshift bumper you got on the back there. Its blocking half your plate!" LOL. I wanted to tell him to try hitting by bumper with his and see whos is makeshift. but i didn't want to push my luck and just played dumb and told him i would fix it up and he didn't give me a ticket or anything. He was a bit of a dink though.

Little update for you guys. I'm going up north (as if im not far enough north yet haha) tonight to go wheeling all day tm. there will actually be rocks where i'm going. the best way to describe the terrain would be like the rubicon with a little more mud and i don't think there are as extreme obstacles. I also trimmed the front half of my rear quarters so that my tires don't rub badly on them. PICS coming tm or monday. should be a good run.

I like your truck, did you upgrade your birfields or are they stock?

:disturbed: :king: :ack: :sheerterror: :rivers: :hammerhead: :driving: Heres the pics from wheelin. I suffered a broken leafspring and managed to limp the rest of the way up the mountain and down the other side to the trail entrance where CAA (AAA for you) towed my broke junk home. I hit a few trees too lol. Oh and it rained.

thats all for now, i'll post some more up when people post them up on my local bb.
