well i got the belts and alt. taken care of. went out this morning to go to school, started up just fine but then died after a few seconds of running. i didn't have time to mess with it early, but when i got home i did it again. this time i noticed the check engine light was on. i haven't checked the code yet, but i noticed that when it was started the temp gauge went up and right before it died, the lil needle plummeted and then it died


ill trip and check the code later when i get back from the vet

im almost to that point of pulling the 88 and putting that in and rebuild the one in right now and put it in a corner so if something gets FUBAR im good to go with a backup

so i just got bored and went to take some pics. it shows the clean runner, the :pokinit: paint fade and my lil cluster of fun... deck, rocklight switch, and CB... does anybody know how to get to the AUX with this deck? i dont have the manual anymore so im lost and i-pod less without it

ive tried it. ive held it down for at least 15-20 seconds

idk.... but i got the check engine light off

when i changed the belts i took off the intake and forgot to plug the wires back into it haha

Plug the ipod in and turn it on. Then push the big volume nob in and it should change. At least thats how all the pioneer decks i've ever messed with work.

ill tell you... because i decided to clean up my photobucket and organize it, and in doing so changed all the links... so now i get to spend a few hours going through and replacing pics if i can figure out which ones go where
