Well, you certainly put up a convincing argument. I like the balanced, concise reporting. If it ain't a Toyota...it'll be a Ford in my garage. (Sorry fordh8r)
well, at least you concede it will be in your garage!
I could go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on about this subject, there is always something with these things I have vowed never to own one again. I've punished myself long enough, Ford used to make a great product and I used to love their reliablility but my recent Ford's have been less than stellar. I loved my 60 pickup, I loved my 61 van' I loved my 68 Mustang convertable, I loved my 71 LTD convertable, I thought my 80 Futura was ok, my 81 Granada was ok too, my 95 Escort was junk, my 2002 Ranger was a POS from day 1, and my 2002 Fukus did just that from day one until the motor blew up last month. Notice the trend here? Old Ford's are cool, new Ford's suck ass.
unfortunately, its not just the Ford's. I think I can safely say all of the American motor companies have headed down the same road in quality and reliability.
I've owned several Fords and have never had a lick of trouble out of any of them...granted, I've never had a 6ltr PSD. I'd lop off a nard to have one of the new ones...F450 in town or at Lowes!
I like fords
sorry to hear that. Go change the air filter in a 6.0 and report back.
Of course, all this being said, I'm looking at getting one. for my $$, my requirements, and my wants, Ford is the best bag for my buck right now
