Well, you certainly put up a convincing argument. I like the balanced, concise reporting.  :gap:

I could go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on about this subject, there is always something with these things I have vowed never to own one again. I've punished myself long enough, Ford used to make a great product and I used to love their reliablility but my recent Ford's have been less than stellar. I loved my 60 pickup, I loved my 61 van' I loved my 68 Mustang convertable, I loved my 71 LTD convertable, I thought my 80 Futura was ok, my 81 Granada was ok too, my 95 Escort was junk, my 2002 Ranger was a POS from day 1, and my 2002 Fukus did just that from day one until the motor blew up last month. Notice the trend here?  Old Ford's are cool, new Ford's suck ass.

:werd:  unfortunately, its not just the Ford's.  I think I can safely say all of the American motor companies have headed down the same road in quality and reliability.

I've owned several Fords and have never had a lick of trouble out of any of them...granted, I've never had a 6ltr PSD. I'd lop off a nard to have one of the new ones...F450 in town or at Lowes!

Of course, all this being said, I'm looking at getting one.  :smack:  for my $$, my requirements, and my wants, Ford is the best bag for my buck right now

all I can say is if you get a 6.0, do yourself a favor, and get the aftermarket air filter kit for it.  I don't mean a K&N, napa/Wix has a paper filter replacement kit that makes it a simple affair to change and the filter itself is cheaper than the stock replacement.
