Dang Glen your computer must be an antique, I have a Windows 98se/plus running only a Pentium and a whole 6gigs total as a backup to my Me. God knows you need a backup to Me, it is on dial up and I have never had any problems loading images or getting into the chatroom. It is a lot slower but it does load maybe in a minute or so on larger files and images.

  I barely have windows 98 when i clicked the link in my signature to hear my truck it took a good 5 minutes to load and buffer
when i open a new page on the GBG thread or Mikes vacation  i just take a nap or something
it a 2000 model Gateway  um 500mhz celeron processor, 64mb memory and 15 gb harddrive

WOAH. I just noticed this, and everything SEEMS fine, but then I checked the server settings, AND WE HAVE EXCEEDED OUR BANDWIDTH QUOTA OF 60 GB!!!!! Holy CRAP Something really messed up!!!!! That's like a new world record for us!!

I'll tell Dave about it, because I don't think I'll have any time to call our host.....

I am on hold with our host right now to see what can be done about this. I will either increase our bandwidth limit, or at least find out when our counter resets.......

So we have slowly been growing closer to the 60 Gb limit, but I think what really topped it off was that we had a new webpage installed and many changes were done to it. That is alot of file transfer and bandwidth use.

So I am going to get our limit up to 80 Gb or so.... I'll let you guys know what happens when I get off the phone.......

Ok guys, they just increased our bandwidth from 60 Gb to 250 Gb FOR FREE!!!!! So now we are only at 27% of our cap!

Testing attachments now......

Well, I seem to have fixed the attachment error, but apparently it was not caused by the bandwidth.

I tried to attach that file about 10 different times while I played around with settings, and then I finally changed some of the code of the forum and now it is working.

There is a newer (much improved) version of this forum, but man, with all the modifications I've made, that will be a whole-day job.

I *might* be able to do that tomorrow afternoon, but it all depends on how much homework I can get finished tonight and tomorrow...

So it's working for now, enjoy
